Hey yall,
I'm having a heck of a time finding posts related to any center post issues with the AC9. My problem is that the post is not flat on the bottom and therefor does not sit flush against any of my devices center pins. I hadn't noticed it until it was too late and found that the center post of the AC9 sort of tore up the pins on my tube mods. The loss of conductivity is minimal but noticeable.
A few people I've talked to have suggested sanding the pin down and plating it with a thick silver plating or rhodium.
Is there a post I've missed talking about any similar problems with their AC9s or are there posts relevant to sanding and plating these conductive center posts?
I've asked vapinaze about the problem and they said they haven't heard of this before, however it's possible and sanding it down should fix it.
I'm not so new to vaping but fairly fresh to the forum, please forgive me if I've posted in the wrong section. A point in the right direction would be super appreciated. Thanks!

Forget the plating crap. It's not a switch contact that's activated hundreds of times a day, there is no arcing involved.

File/sand it flat. It's too bad about your mods' connectors.

Just did that the other day and it works as well as it did when I first got it. Woot. Still curious to know if plating would really make a big difference or not. Least my new center pins have been replaced and are no longer getting mangled. Thanks for the info yo :)
