I got my replacement top cap, o-rings, and the new spring post assembly. As far as I can tell, the bore in the top cap for the drip tip is now the PERFECT size, and the tolerances of the ID are actually slightly tighter so it sits more firmly on the top plate. Good job Rip, you made good on your promise to improve the AC9, and now it's about as perfect as I could have hoped for it to be. I'll be doing an updated review of the atty in the next few days, and JC West and I might actually be doing it together!

Can you do a quick vid and just show us how the cap fits tighter and a good look at the spring. You dont even need to vape on it, unless you exhale normally lol. Im just dying to see the spring system in action and know that the top cap fits on tight again. Mine has now loosened up to almost unusable.

That looseness is what prompted me to swap to new rings. But I still had new rings. I can't wait for replacements.

DID you happen to get a 1.2mm top cap as well? I ordered a couple... I'm rather curious to get some feedback on it!

Nah, I went with the 1.5mm. I prefer an airier draw, so I'll probably bore out my original cap to 2mm and keep the new one at 1.5mm.

I love the 1.5 draw,but I feel i'm missing a bit on the flavour... so I got both... we'll see.

Due to the quantity of units that were pre-ordered, it has taken a lot longer for the top plugs to be finished than we thought. That is all we are waiting on right now before we can start assembling, packaging, and shipping the units. Once your unit has been shipped, you will receive a shipping notice. I didn't notice an estimate of ship date in this information. We're approaching 4 weeks beyond the initial estimate. Can we expect to receive them some time before the end of year?

I have been patient because of the device performance. I have stepped out and contacted them regarding parts and heard that those parts could be included with another one I ordered as they were going to start shipping that next day after I exchanged some emails. So of course rather than ship parts separately, of course I said ship together. The new top cap replacement will be available on the website. Not sure if I'll get one as they won't sell them on the side to previous owners so I just don't know what type of notice will be given. And I've seen ALL new parts sold out already and tested in the field.

So here's my deal. I'm so over it. I'm done with the hype. I vape the one I have along with other gennies. Whatever happens happens, I won't be expecting it anytime soon. My belief? If it's going to be a 2-3 month wait, announce that straight away.
