believe it or not i followed that exactly from zen. still flippin out. I am honestly starting to think i either dont have enough oxidation built up on the wick even though i have oxidized this over and over. Either that or I am just wrapping too tight. EIther way I have no idea. It is the top piece of wire between the coil and the positive post is the only part glowing if i force past the e1 and do an ohm check to force power through the coil, that is the only place the coil fires which seems to me that the wick has some problem but I dont know for sure.

What ohm reading is it giving you when you go into the menu?? What voltage are you vaping it at??

well its definitely a wick issue. set the provari to 3.0 pulled the wick out, fired the provari and fires fine. so it has to be a wick issue.

I learned how to do it from this video with no pre oxidizing of the wick what so ever. You can do it. You just need patience. Start super low volts and adjust the coils while they are warm, no juice in tank. You will get it. Its just a matter of time. If you spend 15 minutes of poking around it will work. The vid Im posting you cant setup with a provari due to error codes but I can use mine on my Provari after Im done. I use a weak battery in a mech mod to start.

Pull the wick out and do several pulse fires to strengthen the wire. Several. Give the wick one more torch while its out. Reinsert and if you see the too glow again, nudge the first coil that doesn't fire a little. It gently twist about 1/8 of a turn the wick. Try again. Your problem is that spot after the glow.
And drop the provari to 2.9. If you start a new wire wrap, try wrapping on a small screwdriver or on the wick itself and inserting it. Allow it to spring. Ask naturally and make the connections. Before firing, remove the wick and do the pulse fires. Try again. Think Petar K.

i took the wick out with the coil still wrapped and just torched it all for a solid 5 minutes. 5/6 wrap of 28g at 1.2 ohms and this thing is a vapor producing machine. all the frustration and wait was well worth it.

thats great you got it working if you have the v2 you can do a 5/4 wrap which will give you 1.0 ohms and run your provari at 3.3v thats what ive got runnin now it works great been using a stanley phillips head the same size as the wick hole to wrap my coils and seems to be flawless so far

I've always been happy with my Deluxe Tinker Swiss Army Knife. A hair more than the swiss tech though, and it doesn't work on my Orion (screws are too small)

I have a very similar one, but it has a few more tools. The only problem with it is it's so big! Also, I can't carry a knife at work, so It's in my car. Gets the job done though.

I received my AC9 today. Yea. It did not have a center post. I had contacted Vapinaze last week asking for the tracking #. After some back & forth emails they sent me a center post which arrived yesterday. So I do have a complete unit, but I am at work, so will have to wait until I get home tonight in order to play. I am looking forward to an assume vap tonight!

Ok, took a couple of tries. Turns out I was pulling the wire too tight on the last wrap trying to get it to go between the washer and the top head of the center post creating a hot spot. Figured that out. Now have a 1.1ohm of 28g Kanthal on one of their wicks. Using 3.4 volts. .......ing frieght train, man. Awesome! In one of their next videos they might mention attention not pulling the last wrap too tight with the washer set up. I finally figured out to pull the washer down with my left finger nail while gently putting the wire in its place with my right hand.

Vapinaze has a winner here!!!!!! In time people will forgive the hickup with the second preorder when they understand how outstanding the AC9 really is. Sending me the center post so that it arrived one day ahead of the unit was perfect. I feel for the customers that had to wait longer.

If Vapinaze wants to use me as a reference in any way what so ever, all they have to do is let me know. I've got their device. And having experienced it, I now have their back.

Wow, Vapor production is outstanding. Flavor is coming better with each draw. Build was really pretty easy, with a little experimentation. This AC9 just rocks!!!!!!

That's a really good mention for anyone that has an atty with a spring and washer setup. Great reminder there SheerLuckHolmes:):)

On a side note: I had resent that email to brent and the team at Vapinaze and Yay response!:):) I had a sinking feeling my email went to the spam folder. Man, I really gotta change my email addy;);) But I like it so much;)
