Accuracy of iTaste MVP 2 ohm meter

I am looking to purchase my first VV upgrade, an itaste mvp 2, and begin to build my own coils. I have read in a product review that the ohm meter wasn't necessarily that accurate. I am only looking to rebuild replacement bottom fed coils, say for a protank, to start off, in the 1.5 to 2.5 ohm realm. Reading that the mvp 2 shouldn't heat coils below 1.3 ohms (not sure if this is correct), and the fact that I am brand new to rebuilding coils, I must avoid damaging my first mod at all costs. Is there any merit to the claim that the ohm meter on the itaste mvp 2 is not accurate? Thank you for your input.

Welcome to ECF, I rebuild pt coils and run them on my evic. I believe it is the same, where can't go below 1.3 ohms. I use 30 gauge wire and made a micro coil at 1.9 ohms. I check my coils with a multimeter and I get the same on evic as measured. Hopefully someone else can chime in too.

Also cotton as wick works great. Check you tube for videos.

Three tests on three different attys, from 1.5 to 2.5Ω... all the same between a MVP2.0 and a Fluke 88 DMM.
I don't have anything wired below 1.0Ω to test, but... all my Innokins will fire down to 1.0Ω.
