Divine would be the General. Me, I'm a mere mortal.
I can't count the number of mediocre POS I went through before I stumbled onto the Achilles.
This is your first try, and you hit it dead on--the best there is. And on Christmas, no less. It must be Divine Inspiration![]()
Ironically, that thought occurred to me too (see post #80).I doubt they are, but it would be cool if these were made from downed MiGs

I started vaping back in '09, and a lot of crazy modding was going on using everything from tea bags to flashlights to aquarium filters to toy grenades, but dripping was the only way to go: a 510 atomizer, four or five drops (keep a Kleenex handy), take a few draws, then drip again.I agree. I find the Magma fairly tolerable, but I do need to mod it a bit to see if I can get it to stop leaking, but it's a decent vape. And Kayfun Lite Plus if I vaped something non-gunky, very good vape. But the Achilles.... leaves decent way way wayyy behind. Most enjoyable vape I've had, and also the easiest by far.

In any event, you were right. I can just picture the guy amid bomb blasts, pounding swords into plow shares and MIG-29 tail sections into RBAs [emoji6]Yeah, I thought I read that somewhere in this thread, I just couldn't find it to quote it![]()

I personally think the nic reduction thing to be an overstatement (I read the same thing in the website). So, I have the Achilles (and Ataman) on order, and in the translated description it mentions a vicious throat hit and the need to drop your nic levels. Did you guys have to get lower nic eliquid when you started vaping on these? I ask because I currently vape 12mg through Nautilus coils. I plan on trying to build 1.5 ohm coils to run on a Provari 2.5
You might want to aim a little higher than 1.5 ohms on a P2.5. That's the lower limit that they'll fire, and I've gone through a little heartache trying to do the same thing. 1.8 ohms gives me a little buffer when using a 2.5.So, I have the Achilles (and Ataman) on order, and in the translated description it mentions a vicious throat hit and the need to drop your nic levels. The Prometey has the same comment, can't say as I noticed it. I am not a fan of throat hit at all. My coils are very close to the inlet for minimum throat hit.
I've started lowering mine from the height I used at first, as my tolerance for TH has declined. It's like my body is gradually shedding ALL of the cigarette addiction, without my intention or direction or will, beyond the fact that I really don't ever want to smoke again. The cumulative effect of all the changes of my taste would make an actual cigarette seem so foul to me, it doesn't even bear considering.

You are such a quitter!![]()
That depends on which P2.5 you're talking about. The limit on a V1 is 2.5A (9.38W@ 1.5V). The problem I have running that close to the limits is that coil resistances have a way of migrating on me. The meter will swear up and down that I'm at 1.7, but the device will report 1.6; over a period of time it'll wander away from that.I kept the same nic level. Made no difference to me.
As for the P2.5 limit....a 1.5 ohm build should work just fine unless you exceed the amp limit of the P2.5. I believe the amp limit on the P2.5 is 3.5a. So as long as you keep your voltage at 5.2v or less you should be OK. BTW, that's 18+ watts.
