Okay, I've been vaping for a little over 2 months maybe. Like many, I am totally confused and bought way too much stuff way too soon. I'm getting better at this BUT......I'm mostly using a ego-T with a atomizer and drip tip (happen to love dripping for some reason). The first atomizer I got was recommended because it was supposed to produce clouds of vapor and it was a actual "dripping, 3 hole atomizer". Well, I burned that up and went back to my DSE801 until my order came. I ordered what I thought was the right thing but turns out to be a bridged(?) atomizer. I had thrown the other one out so didn't think much of it. So, I have this new bridged atomizer in my ego and I've been dripping onto the silver thing (the wick?) Is this wrong? It seems to be working. Anyone else do this? My guess is that if I used cartridged with this atomizer, it will last longer. I clean it every night anyway but what do you think?

I have since ordered the correct, 3 hole, dripping atomizer. I'm still trying to get all this stuff straight! Also...whats the difference between a battery and a pass through? Now I have to get yet another charger!!!!!

You can debridge and dewick your bridged atty which is/was a common practice before bridgeless dripping atties came out... Pretty easy to do... Just requires a pair of tweezers and a bit of a steady hand... Here is a vid that I learned from...

Removing The Bridge (mod) - YouTube

If you care for another atty recommendation these are nice Dripping Atomizer™ 510 1.8ohm Stainless Dripping Atomizer™ 510 1.8ohm Stainless [] - $5.65 : SmartVapes Electronic Cigarettes, Electronic Cigarette and are pretty cheap... the 306 version is sweet as well (my preference)...

A pass through as ffar as an ego one is concerned is a battery with a usb cable you can charge through your computer and vape at the same time...

HTH...

Cheers...

Well, I don't see the point in a passthrough if you have more than one PV anyway. It's too long and an ugly green and now I hate it. So, I'll just suck it up (again) and buy the charger for the sexier pink BATTERY I got the other day ;)

A passthrough is good to have especially if your batteries die or just to use when you can so you're not using up one of your batteries. Also, it is perfectly ok to drip on the bridged atty just as you are. I prefer to debridge mine but it is by no means necessary.

It depends. If you spend a bit of time on your computer, a passthrough can save the battery life of your more mobile batteries. Also, mine unplugs at the battery and has a screw on bottom so I can take it off the wire, take it anywhere and it will maintain a charge like a normal battery. You can even charge it in a pcc or wall unit if you wanted/needed to. Since I'm back and forth on my computer a lot, I'm finding I only use my passthrough. I have extras as needed for travel, but this setup works great for me.
