If you already have something to cut the tubing, you can make 25 of them for about $20

Don't use the rubber grommets, they leave a bad taste and smell on the juice, I already tried some from a local hardware store. The vinyl ones on ebay have no odor and the same stamp that the ones from parkes have

Here for example is an acorn tank

uses the same grommets as mentioned in this thread but this one was bought and has the screw on top.
One made otherwise would just have the same gasket as the one that fits on bottom of tank and a tip and that would be your top setup and very inexpensive to make with the materials mentioned in the thread.

So if you want to go inexpensive make your own and have a decent tank for starters or buy one as pictures here for 10 bucks and have a screw on cap, tip not included.

CK the the things mentioned in post # 8 you will need O-rings to go around the groove in the grommets.

Thanks to everyone who answered. OK, so I would need to buy some O-rings too. I'm assuming they don't come with the grommets.

Also, I have seen it mentioned a few times that the purchased tanks come with a cartomizer. You can put new cartomizers in these tanks right? You don't have to make a new tank each time you need to change out the cartomizer, right?

Ck not sure if the carts fit as i use ce2s only in the acorn tank , dont want to steer you wrongas i do not know .
at Parkes Vaping there running a special on the chibi tank which is for the carts though a plain tank without the cart or mouth tip is 5.50 . With a boge cart its 8 or 8.50.
I use first class shipping its like 2.50 for an idea if you decide to go that route .

You don't need any o ring for the grommet, the grommet seals well enough with the polycarb tubing, if you use some kind of flexible tubing with a 5/8 ID you might want to use an o ring. Cartomizers are replaceable, just punch or slot them and put them in the tank
