Hello everyone! =)

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right forum, so please bear with me. I'll get to the basic question, and then follow with the details. I'm going to order the Phoenix Bottom Coil Cartomizer, as well as the Smoktech LR Resurrectors to go with my Ego Twist 1000 mah ( I dunno if that information matters, lol). Question: I need to figure out what type of adapter will fit with the other batteries that I have!? I understand the difference between the male and female adapters, somewhat but not really. More specifically, it's lack of my novice level of understanding "vape" terminology- example: "and gender of the battery connection (male if the battery screws into the atomizer and female if the atomizer screws into the battery)" --- okie dokie folks, what's the atomizer? ( Please be nice, it's clear that I don't know alot about terminology) :p Anyways, the other batteries I have on hand are:
2 V2 cigs batteries (which I read that these are 901's?
and 1 X2 Volt Battery from Smokeless Image- which, I'm thinking an 808?

Do I need an adapter to fit a 510-901-and 808? I originally thought it would be as simple as just going to a website and ordering an adapter and calling it a day... LMAO but CLEARLY there is more research to be done. Thanks guys so much, and please be nice  I'm still new to this!

Terri

KR8/901 = SAME in most instances, I believe you would need a KR8/901 to 510 adapter , then a 510/Ego adapter to go into the KR8/901-510 if I understand what your trying to do is run a Phoenix on the KR8/901,, so 2 separate adapters for each Batt,, unless they have come out with KR8/901/Ego adapters but I havent seen those as of yet myself. Your probably best off just buying an Ego Twist VV Batt in my opinion, running adapters sucks, just buy the Ego VV Twist or a pair of them, 1000mAh or if you like smaller they come in a 650mAh too,, again if I'm understanding what your trying to do, which is run a Phoenix bottom coil Carto,,, which I would suggest the Kanger T3 bottom coil over the Phoenix as well. Bottom line is your best off buying a good 510 Batt in my opinion, and you probably will one way or another.:)

Just my personal opinion =

Cisco has good adapters

This = http://www.avidvaper.com/battery-atomizer-adapters/

and This = http://www.avidvaper.com/ego-t-mega-to-510-atomizer-adapter/

Or just buy one of these = http://www.avidvaper.com/joye-ego-twist-1000mah-variable-voltage-batteries/

With these Carto's = http://www.litecigusa.net/Kanger_T3_EgO_Bottom_Coil_Clearomizer_Tank_System_p/kanger-t3-kit.htm

MWA,
Thanks so much, you understood what I was trying to say right on the head! LOL. I do have an Ego Twist, but I just hate spending extra money on other carto's to fit my 901/808's all the time. And I have tried the Kanger T3's, I really wasn't that impressed. In fact, I won't repurchase. IMO, they mute the taste of my eliquid, and on my twist I could not get the voltage past 3.8-4.0 without it tasting extremely burnt! But thank you for your input- LOL this adapter junk sounds like a pain! I appreciate your response, greatly! =)

Hi Terrri - just get an 808-510 adapter to use the Phoenix on the Volts. I've used an 808-510 adapter with the Volt X2s with vivi novas. Should be able to use that adapter with the V2 as well - like the Volts they are 808 threaded.
Using low resistance isn't recommended for the Volts, and probably not good with the V2s either.
Adapters are cheap and easy to use.

Oh, and btw, does it matter between the male/female adapter?..

Only if they want to have babies...

Just ignore me. Reading your post I'm reminded of the box I have in the back of my closet. If I lined everything up it would chronicle my vaping growth. Trying not to waste what we've already spent money on seems like a good idea, but it's a lot of hassle. Vaping just grows: Vaping for the over sixties , how vaping grows.wmv - YouTube

You wont get the same air draw using a Phoenix or T3 with that I believe Kiwivap, and the Nova has a different type of connection then a Phoenix as well

People have been using T3s with the Volt using adapters with no problems. Using ego adapters I think. The Phoenix - is a CE3? Sorry - memory going wonky.

ETA: Yes, some are using 808-Ego for the T3 with Volts, although on the X2 some are saying don't need an adapter.

most vendors give the name of their adapter in "battery to atomizer" notation, as far as i know. for example a 510-ego would connect a 510 battery to an ego carto/clearo. i started with a small 808, and ended up abandoning it once i got my egos...i would chock them up to a learning experience :) try the phoenix, i have had really good luck, they are a bit of a pain to fill and they don't hold as much as a kanger, but the flavor is better than a kanger IMO. just my :2c:
