My initial foray into vaping has been with a V2 Cigs kit, along with a couple of their V2 clearomizers. I've since ordered a pair of eGo batteries -- a 650mAh Twist and a 450mAh Mini -- and a handful of cartomizers to match. I'd like to be able to use my V2 clearomizers with my eGo batteries, as well as attach the eGo cartomizers to my V2 batteries. Are these the correct adapters?

For attaching the V2 clearomizers to the eGo:
Adapter - 510 Battery to 808D Cartomizer

For attaching the eGo cartomizers to the V2:
Adapter - 808D Battery to Go-go Cartomizer

Thanks!

Odd.... the wording of the link looks right but the actual link takes me to the 510 to 801 and 801 to 510 adapters. Those would be the wrong ones.

I think you need this:

Adapter - 901/808D Battery to 510

Hmm... they don't have the other adapter. Here's another vendor that has both:

510 to [KR808D-1/DSE901] Adapter

901 to [510] Adapter

Thanks, Kent. Picked up the adapters from MyFreedomSmokes (had a couple other things in my cart from there) -- Adapter Female 510 to Female 901/KR-808 - MyFreedomSmokes.com and Adapter Male 510 to Male 901/KR-808, which look like the same things you listed.

Good! Those are the right ones too. Must warn you - some adapters are finicky. Make sure all center pins are connecting. See my recent post here on center pins -just posted.

Adapters arrived already! The one I thought would let me put my eGo-style cartomizers on the V2 cig-a-like ain't right, but it was less that $2, so no big loss there... But the other one fits -- I can use my V2 cartomizers with my eGo batteries now. But the draw is really tight, feel like I'm going blue in the face trying to draw a hit using either of my eGo batteries. Anyone else ever seen that? Common drawback of using adapters?

The V2 batt to 510 should fit the threading but you have a cig style V2 going to an eGo style clearo so there is going to be an overhang of the 'ego Skirt'. There is a 510 to eGo adapter that handles that but likely not worth the extra length. There's also an aesthetic 'sleeve' that helps the small to large transition but only in 510.

On the 510 to V2 adapter may need some slots filed in where the air slots are in the V2 carts. OR try a looser fit. If the center pins are still in contact, the looser fit may give you more airflow... As I said, some adapters are 'finicky' :) Where I've bought adapters, I got them from heaven gifts in 10 packs and about 7 of them would work. As you go along toward eGo or others, where things fit, this will be a slight bump in the road.
