So I bought a dill pickle flavor juice from Zeus and its a little on the sweet side. Not too sweet, but enough that it doesn't taste right. The guy my boyfriend buys juices from was telling us about how he uses vinegar to create a throat hit or mellow out a flavor/ bring out a flavor.

In this forum topic, some ECF members explored the idea of vinegar and lemon juice in their liquids and what they discovered was so interesting.

I plan on using distiller white vinegar to mellow the sweetness of my pickle flavor, but what if I took it a step further and just used real pickle juice? Would any of the salt or other added ingredients destroy my tank or cartos?

The only way to know is to try it. I use apple cider vinegar and lemon juice in my mixes and haven't had any hardware issues.

But any time I am working with something that I am unfamiliar with, to try it out I use a cheap clearo or an inexpensive dripping atty at first. Even though something might not harm your tank, some flavors are pretty much impossible to remove from a tank. So I think it's best to use something that can be easily cleaned and rebuilt (such as a cheap dripping atty) or something disposable for experimenting. I learned this the hard way.
