I am assuming you are going to be using 3.7 volts. In this case there is nothing to worry about. I use a silver bullet at 3.7 volts, and have yet to have a atty burn out on me. I typically take a fairly quick draw and blow this one out of my nose as I draw in another hit. I would say I keep the atty going for 10 seconds... just timed it: 10 seconds.

I don't know anything about 6 volts. I purchased the SB with the 3.7v battery. I have not found a reason to move to 6 volts.

As soon as the flavor starts to dissipate I switch carts, refill, top off etc...

Things I noticed when moving to a battery mod:

1) Consistent all day. Vapor just like a fresh 510 battery... maybe a bit more.
2) Handles flooded attys much better.
3) Don't have to do the 510 shuffle.

Enjoy...

Sounds like you've done your homework!:D I don't have the chuck (yet he he). I have a Prodigy and the only thing I can add is not to let your attys get to hot. I've read they can be atty killers. Like you said I take a couple of 2 or 3 second drags and let the atty cool off. I haven't lost an atty yet. I think you'll love it! Enjoy.:D

I don't have one, but I have heard that the high voltage juices from Drew at Nhaler work wonders in a mod. I have the butterscotch and the peanut butter cup high voltage juices that I use in my regular 901 and they are great. They burn slower and keep the atty cooler (for me anyway).

Yeah I love nhaler, well i actually only like two out of the four flavors i tried. I really liked candy apple and pralines and cream, I am going to order some tommorow and do reviews when I get them, I am also gonna review my chuck wen I get it.

Thanks for the pointers guys, I hope I have done my homework i dont want to have my chuck explode or anything :)

anybody else have any other pointers? i am open ears

Keep a battery in the charger at all times, and/or be sure to carry a fully-charged spare with you. I've had a Prodigy for 2 weeks, and I still can't tell when the batteries are getting low. The vapor starts hitting mild, and within 3 drags it's dead. If I didn't have a spare battery at that moment I would be crying.

I have my beloved Chuck and It Vapes at 3.7v great for days with a 18650 batty.
At 6v It's awesome but watch out for atty failure if you dont keep it real wet all the time.

I have had no problem with atty failure using 510 atty..

I have a connector for 801s I like to use. Have went through 4 attys in 2 weeks at 6v.

There is a learning curve at 6v.

I like 3.7 with 801. Smooth vape and the batty. I recharge every day or two just to keep volts as high as possible using the 18650.

You will love yours when it gets to you!!
