I've looked at the SB and BB and I can't seem to understand the advantage of getting one.

It looks like you can use an atomizer&cartridge from an M401, leaving only the lenght of the battery as a factor.
But you can get a usb cable for the M401 eliminating the battery problem.

But there's also a usb cable for the BB...

Am I missing something? :)

unless u have a usb port in ur back pocket, its all abt portability ;) Just a lil sarcasm there, not picking on u, promise :)

in all seriousness tho, for people on the go, the SB/BB have EXCELLENT batt life, a button that recessed so it doesnt go off in ur pocket and well, its a nice looking device! 3.7v or 6v.....its really awesome! I have the SB and it great! The only thing I dont like is I now dont have a BB!!!!!:)

Gotta agree with Crash, I also have the Silver Bullet and Love it! Battery life with the SB is awesome, easily all day long! I mostly use it at 3.7, but it is great to have the "6volt jolt" when you want it. And just crazy about the button, plus the workmanship in general is fantastic. It is a bit large, but you get used to is fast, and then a regular ecig seems so puny, you feel like you could snap it like a twig! (probably couldn't hurt a SB driving over it!)

Yea, I've been reading a bit on those voltages.
Is a higher voltage supposed to produce more vapour or something?

Will using an usb cable with an M40x also give that high volatage?

And why is there a usb cable for the BB if it's only to give more/longer power on the go?

I would sum up the difference as such:

SilverBullet - Protected 6v (2x RCR123A Lifep04 750mAh) or Protected 3.7v (1x 18650 2000-3000mAh), recessed button, comes in both Chrome (Silver) and Smooth (Black) finish. This unit is for the folks who don't really care about the size, it's about 1.1" in Diameter and about 4.3" in height. The unit is perfect for those that have bigger hands. I personally use the Silver Bullet over the BB due to the longer battery life.

The BB - Protected 6v (2x CR2 Lifep04, 180mAh) or Protected 3.7v (1x 14500 900mAh), Get the finish in either Black. The unit is about the diameter of a roll of nickels, and about 3.4ish" in height (don't know exact measurements off the top of my head! Doh!) This is for the ones that are a bit more 'conscious' about the size of their units. The battery life is about a 1/3rd of what the SB has, so we created a Passthru for the moments of 'Oh No! My Battery Needs Charging!' :p

Hope that clears up some of your questions :p

Yeah...a whole lot...it's called 6 volt vaping and it'll knock your socks off!! I never vape at 3.7 anymore. It feels like an analog that's been broken and you don't know it yet. Real weak..

To halopunker,
As per Sean "The only protected batteries that can be used in the BB are the 14500 900mAh 3.7V Batteries (they use the 3.7V Battery Charger)". Could you please explain because I'm lost, can BB take Protected 6v (2x CR2 Lifep04, 180mAh)? Also, to charge those batteries do one has to have a 2 different special chargers?

Thank you.

Im not Halopunker but can answer...yes. The 3.7v batts will need a charger and the lifepo4 batts are not only a different chemical makeup, but different voltage as well...most lifepo4 batts actually come combo'd w/thier own charger.

**PS-most start out vaping wanting something that looks like a real cig, and w/in a wekk, care more about batt life than anything and move on to a mod such as the Sb or BB anyway. My suggestion is start out with what ull ending wanting anyway and save urself some cash. Even if you went other way around, ull still save serious $ over smoking, but I wish back in June, when I started, someone gave me this advice...so thought Id share. I wasted too much of my "savings" on stuff that now collects dust. Altsmoke's device are TOP quality and highly recommended...Ive NEVER seen anyone complain on thier quality....ever ;)

5-6v is a good vape on a SB. Some PVs are a lil harsh at 6v to me, but I actually prefer my SB at 6v :)

Eh the CR2 LIFEP04's scare me, so I wouldn't use those. We recommend only the 14500 batteries in the BB. If you want to do 6v vaping you can pick up a BB Passthru and get a enercell adapter with the N Tip Plug and wallah. Can vape through the PT using 3,5,6,6.5,7,7.5 voltages ;P

Is it true that they are fixing the new BB, by putting a tube in them, so the you can't put any CR2 in them?

Are the SB or BB being changed in any way that would limit what batteries can be used in them?

looking through some other posts, it seems many advise against 6v unless using a HV atty...
Are the people vaping at 6v using a HV atty or just a regular 510?

I personally prefer the HV attys @ 6v. Not as harsh and uses less juice. Similar to the performance of a good PT with a regular atty.
