I am absolutely overwhelmed researching ecigs/pens.. Few hours of reading and I have gotten nowhere. I have a bit of a learning disorder that doesn't help either. I am looking for advice on what to buy for my first quality setup (I have used cheap 510 setups).

I have a budget of 200max I want at least two batteries like 3200mah that last long. Also, 2,3+ different tanks/cartomizers/atomizers (I am not sure if I am using that terminology correctly) to use e-liquid in. I would like a dual battery charger and a pass through cable so I can charge both batteries and use it at same time. Variable voltage to adjust the heat, push button and leak proof so e-liquid doesn't get in my mouth or pocket, those all would be nice..

Hoping to get some good advice, make a purchase, and learn more from this forum as time goes on. I have gotten my farther to quit smoking (has cancer) and a couple friends. They come to me for advice on using electronic cigarettes, and they too are frustrated by failing devices and leakage. I don't mind if a device is a bit complicated either.

Thank you!

Discussion of devices used to vaporize anything other than e-liquids is generally not a good idea around here.

If your budget is around $300, you should look into the ProVari. Top of the line, regulated electronic mod. A pair of ProTank 2's for your delivery devices. Good quality batteries from ProVape, the same shop that sells the ProVari device. That's not going to leave much for liquids, but if you shop around you'll be able to find some inexpensive bottles of something tasty.

Even with your edited budget limit, I'd still look into the ProVari.

If that's too high, consider one of the lower priced, entry level APV's like the Vamo, SVD, MVP, SID, VV v3, Zmax, Tessla, etc. These can all be had within your budget and are all excellent devices to let you try the APV scene and see if it's what you want to get into.

Your pass through expectations can't entirely be met. The VV v3 does passthrough, but the others don't.

I would focus less on the mAh capacity of the battery and more on the battery's ability to meet the high drain needs that some of these devices can put on them. A battery with a low output rating but a high capacity is not better than a cell with a lower capacity but the ability to deliver the current when demanded and not blow up on you.

Thanks for the advice! Gave me some names to pull up decent google search results on devices/stores to higher quality products.
It's giving me a better idea of what I want.

How about something with a pass through that has a large capacity battery 18650 battery (or I can buy that separately). Like a samsung 3400mah. Biggest problem with my old cheap device (besides leaking), I was constantly switching batteries back and forth (it was 1200mah if I remember right). I smoke 3-4 packs a day

Get two more posts..

I like my vape-pro by totally wicked for what you were originally asking. It has a mode on it that allows immediate power output and gradual. This is a great thing for that. I'll get into that else-where. People won't get what the big deal of that mode is without the specific thing I use it for..:)

Is that charger suitable? I couldn't find a coupon code for provapes, anyone?...

General thoughts?

Within an hour you should be able to post in other forums.

I would post here and ask for help with your selection and what else you need.
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/provari/

If you still need help, send me a PM and I'll find some help for you. But you'll need to wait for the board to reset to show your post count.

Entry level = cigalike
Intermediate = ego type
Advanced = TESLA, VAMO, SVD, MVP, SID, VV V3, ZMAX, oh and the extremely overrated over priced provari.

Then there are the mechanical mods. No wires or circuitry.

You'd think provape would have made a mech by now wouldn't you !. Then again they wouldn't be able to charge you up for something so simple, or would they ?.

My only advice, and this is coming from a total ecig noob, would be to not over think it too much. You can always order another piece here and there as they mix and match pretty nicely. I picked up an ego style battery and trophy tank locally to hold me over until I decide what I want in a mech mod and the best one to buy. Best of luck!

And even then it's about which one first, right ?.

Get a VAMO with 4 18350 batteries, a charger that can hold 2 batteries, 2-4 Protank 2s, and some higher end flavors from a reputable producer like Thevaporchef.com or mtbakervapor.com. It would clock in at about $150, and give you an incredible vaping experience. It will also let you fiddle with your wattage and voltage for each flavor to produce the best possible clouds and taste. The batteries will last well over a day unless you have the device attached to your face.

I have everything but the VAMO myself, and I can't imagine wanting anything more after I get it.

You'll need batteries too. I'd opt for the Pila charger. I'm not exactly getting what kind of juice delivery system you are looking at. I see you have cartomizers and drip tip which are fine, though a lot of people use tanks so they don't have to keep refilling. Noalox is good to have on hand too. Not sure if you really need the adapters. This will depend on your juice delivery system. You don't need them for those cartomizers. The wood block is nice to have but there are others that are nicer at other places. Even some suppliers here that can customize one for you.

I made some orders, I will keep it a surprise and I will post in a couple weeks when everything arrives. :vapor:

How come you don't just get the starter kit? I just realized they have one now. If you've never used any kind of vaping device, this would be the easiest way to go.

I have owned other some cheap kits before and a full size herbalaire for...

As I am unable to suggest suppliers, I was really hoping that one of the many ProVari owners could have offered you some suggestions on what you needed.

Sadly that wasn't the case. Hope what you did purchase works out for you. I'd post in the link I posted earlier and you may get a little more help.
