Travel and Vaping Advice for a quick international layover

So,

I am flying to the Philippines on Sunday. My plan is to bring my GLV, Indulgence, and 3.7v box mod with me, along with my passthrough. I will depart from Minneapolis with a VERY short connection time at Narita in Tokyo.

Any advice for making a quick layover? Should I check all of them but one? I plan to separate the batteries from all of them while going through security, but want to have one with me at all times. My guess is that taking the GLV apart and checking at least the tube and end cap is my best bet, while carrying on my box mod and indulgence w/o batteries in them.

Anyone been through Narita lately?

I would check regulations about batteries- I have read that they should always be in carry on for safety reasons. Check on TSA and your carriers websites for current info!
