The ultrasonic itself won't hurt anything....the solution you use in the ultrasonic might. I use a mild detergent to clean all my GGTS parts

If you use the wrong solution it can react with the metal; bright shiny can come out like this

Can you recommend a specific model of manufacturer for an ultrasonic cleaner?

Flitz paste or liquid?

it seems that this will work well with both SS and nickel..
