Lost my go to VV 3.0 today and need to buy practical, dependable device to carry around all the time. I have some mech mods for home use so looking the something fairly small, light, and tank. Budget is around $200 for the battery holder. If I can ever get the KFL to work I'll use it or the Aqua. I was thinking about a dna but I don't need the power for my kind of vaping.

Definitely some mixed reviews on the SVD, but I've had mine since September and no issues yet.

Not a fan of the VV. My wife has had one since around Christmas time and the battery is already starting to fail. Works fine for a short while, then the battery quickly goes dead.

We do have 3 MVP2s in the house and they are all solid. Simple to use, and a huge battery life. We run Kayfun lites on them with 1.5-2.0Ω coils using 30ga wire and get good performance from them. I take one to work with me for my all day vape because the battery life is so good.

My only personal gripe with the MVP2 being a mech mod user, is the measly 3 amp output limit they have. It would be nice to have a little extra power available, but if you build to suit it, it still provides a good vape with the Kayfuns.

Would you consider a bottom-feeder / Reos? They are pretty much indestructible, very reliable, and in your price range. However, you'd have to also buy a bottom-feeding atty so that might scosche the price up a little further, unless you get one from the classies. There is a VV model on the classies right now if you want to stick with something that is VV.

I've got a provari mini, which I think is the more flexible of the two since you can buy either one extension ring to use an 18490, or two and use an 18650. The extender rings can be bought here Tatroe Ring Provari Steel, and are a little more flexible than using the extender cap since you can use all three sizes of battery if you get two of them. If you want a beauty ring so that it'll look sleek with your tanks, I'd skip the cigtechs/tatroe one and get the one from Provari if I were you - the cigtechs version rattles a bit and the one from Provari is suppsoed to be better.

Purchase a flat top ring when ordering the Provari and your good to go. ( don't have a picture handy with my Kayfun but, you get the idea)
