Sorry Asbestos, I posted before I saw your post. So the kayfun is better to prevent leakies? I watched a vid on them last night and he put the wicks down to the bottom, but not in the little channels? I kinda thought that would leak more than the other kind, but this is all new to me. Money isn't really an issue if I get something good that'll hang around for a while.

Well, I'll be turning in to bed soon, but I'll be back.

I might buy some more toys this weekend. A big vivi-nova and maybe a kanger to try out. I'm thinking about throwing a AGA on the list to try out RBAs. I'm happy with my zmax and want something bigger to top it off with than my little minis.

I'm new to RBAs (never built on yet) so something considered easy would be nice. I'm not a stranger to electronics and I can solder and do some machining without any issues. But for getting started I want something easy.

Do these all leak if they get sideways? I'm rough on gear, so if laying on its side is going to be problematic then it's probably a no-go and I'll leave rebuildables to an rda. If I get one this weekend then I want a tank though.

Single coil is preferred. I may get a dual coil if I like it but for starters I'd like to stay with one coil.

um, can't think of anything else, but extra info is always helpful ;)

Wait for the aga-t3 or get kayfun or russian 91%, maybe kraken from fasttech.com ?

so on both the AGA and the RSST, the wick drops down through a hole into the tank, right? Does juice leak out of that hole if you turn it sideways? Is it better to use wire mesh for this purpose or just stuff enough cotton wick in the hole to make sure it doesn't leak and balance that with making it loose enough where it doesn't impede the flow of juice?

I used ss mesh, silica and cotton on rsst. My mods lay on the desk 99% of the time, see picture. With mesh it can leak a little because rolled mesh is usually hollow in the middle and can leak, silica wick is pretty dense so maybe just a tiny bit of leakage can occur, cotton gets really moist and holds up juice well but leakage is possible. Thats why i use cotton buds for precise cleaning when its needed :)

Gecko, DO NOT GET A GENESIS TYPE RBA IF YOU DO NOT WANT LEAKS. Yes, you can prevent/avoid leaks with certain ways of setting them up. Or with certain high end Genesis type rbas like the Arrow (pricey). But generally, if you're just staring out and want to avoid leaks, it's best to look for bottom coil feeders ( not to be confused with bottom feeders like the REO).

A Kay fun clone (rocket, or Kay fun clone from Fasttech) would be a good starting point. But I have to point out that this opinion is based on what I have read on them so far. The original Kay fun lite is easy to set up based on my own newbie experience.

However, whatever delivery system you get is a good staring point as it gives you an idea of what works for you. Treat each RBA as a learning point of what works for you.

I started vaping on an Aga t2, and now I've switched to an RSST. The wick hole on the aga is way too small. When the weather started getting cold i would get a lot of dry hits because the e liquid would thicken up. Since I've gone to the rsst with the bigger wick hole my vaping has been trouble free. I leave the fill holes closed up on the aga t2 and rsst and have never experienced any sort of leakage, even if I layed them on their side all night before bed. I used to use ss mesh, but now I is roll cotton wicks.
