You match the length of the tank with the length of the cartomizer you wish to use. Tank lengths are halfling (shorty cartos), standard (35mm cartos), and XL (45mm cartos). All perform the same, it basically comes down to e-liquid capacity and appearance.ProVari™ Starter Kit with tank V2.5

22mm Cartomizer Tank
How should i build this 22mm cartomizer tank though? what tube length or cartomizer should i select for this custom tank? also, is this refilling drip tool useful at all?

Tank diameter is personal choice, too. The 19 mm is the same diameter as the top of the tapered cone of a Provari. The 22 mm tank is the same diameter as the Provari's body, so for a flush look top to bottom on of the beauty rings will be needed. I prefer the beauty ring from Provape over the one from IBTanked.

Tank #1 - 22mm diameter, XL tank with beauty ring
Tank #2 - 19mm diameter, XL tank (no beauty ring needed)
Tank #3 - 22mm diameter, XL tank without beauty ring
And with these, i should be ready to go right? all I need is a handful of e-liquids and perhaps 5 additional cartomizers since cartomizers will be likely used up every 1-2 weeks right?
You'll need that tank tool that IBTanked sells. IMHO, it is an essentual tool for cartotanks. The below video for a similar tool (Slap Yo Moma) demonstates how these tank tools work.

There are several ways to "prime" the cartomizer before you put it into the cartotank. There is no "best way", its all personal preference and which way works best for you. IBTanked has the "Thingy" method. Some people use the "condom method". I prefer the "Drip & Flick" method myself.
