Well I received my Provari yesterday and along with it 3 tanks from 2 different suppliers. Holy cow
.when that Provari came out of the box I thought it was a marital aid
.but I digress
My first impression peeking at the tanks was the size of the pre-punched cartomizer
. WOW that's like a micro meteorite hole. Really tiny.......but I did not tinker, just continued with the assembly as shipped
I fumbled about for a bit, charged the batteries, inspected the tanks, and filled two, one each from the two different suppliers. I also filled a Boge cartomizer that came with the Provari starter kit.
A word about the juice
. I ordered the juice from a vendor a few weeks back who sold me my eGo-T. They recommend a pg75/vg25 for the eGo so that is what I ordered
. Hence that is what is going into these tanks. Both tanks filled from the same bottle
.chocolate fudge brownie if that matters?
I filled all tanks and cartomizers using an 18 gauge needle
.
I played around with drip tips
.seeking the best look
LOL
.I know
being vain with my new toy with just a Labrador retriever looking on
..silly
..BUT then a drip tip became stuck in the tanks top
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Have I mentioned I dislike tools? So now I must find a tool and use it as a punch to get that drip tip out of the tanks top before I can try this tank on my new sexy PV
..not a happy rancher.
The Provari comes with the voltage set at 4
so why mess with it
.. Screwed on a tank and
.. uh
. Huh?...... tastes bad
. As if I lit the wrong end of a cigarette
..YUCK!
.. ok Im new
its new..
its operator error
so stuff Ive read here begins bouncing around in my head
.. prime the cartridge atomizer thingy
lower voltage
punch holes
invert the device
call a shaman
.. punt
..etc
..the Boge cartomizer worked perfectly although I dislike the frequent dripping
.so my mission is to sort out the tanks.
I start with what I thought was priming the atomizer cartridge
.. needle of juice down into the material surrounding the coil
hmmmm wont draw
..well duh dummy the airway is full of juice
so I unscrew the tank to blow out the juice and find juice all over the top of the Provari
clean up my mess
.blow out the airway
.
..hey much better
well for a few draws
then back to yuck
hmmmm
lower voltage
.nope
.. raise the voltage
..nope
.ok lets try a different vendors tank
.. pop it on and
. nadda
..operator error comes to mind
..but nadda no vaper not even a sizzle sound
.hmmmm
. So I check the ohms
Provari says ohms are Op
sexy little device this is telling me the circuit is open
.so I have a DOA atomizer
grrrrrrrr
..ok back to the nasty tasting tank cause it did work for a few draws
and Im going to the next step
..punch a larger hole in it
.. oh dear Im gonna need tools
..grrrrrrrrr
.. empty the tank
pull out the atomizer
clean everything up
.
.take it to the shop
..look for a sharp pointy doo-dad
.(if this does not work maybe I can slit my wrist with this puppy)
. toss the cartridge atomizer thingy on the table and punch two holes in it
..enlarging micro meteorite hole and a new one
..return to the house
.fill the tank and
WOW as I am filling the tank I can visibly see the fiber material inside turning colour
.wooohooooo I think I did something right
..The tank functioned as I hoped
.good draw
good vapour
..good taste
.OUTSTANDING!!!
This morning I tried the Provari again and either a vapour fairy or a vapour angel touched it during the night or it had broken in some??? Wicked more juice???..........whatever
the vapour was really good with my morning coffee.
So to add to my tank collection I purchased a cartomizer punch this morning
.LOL
.I bought a TOOL
.i thought buying pre-punched cartomizers was the way to go for me but then you do not really know what size the pre-punched hole is gonna be, so turns out for my use it is not.
The tank with the DOA cartomizer was resolved by the vendor
shipped a new one this morning and I am pleased with tank performance. What a nice vapour experience the Provari/tank setup is.
