The darkness is meshed up…
Since using the Owl and Manta tanks for ages I can say that they have been tanks which have been regular on my mods and some of the most fantastic entries into the vaping world. Now this beast of a tank which reminds me of an old favourite which in turn brings this beauty to the game…
Out the Box
The Dark Mesh comes in 2 different colour options at present for the 25mm overall tank. The colour options are Black and Stainless Steel, with the resin 810 tip. The price is $30USD, which is about £26GBP. A decent price for a good tank and reputable in all respect.
The tank has a 5ml bubble glass and with the single coil it goes up to 6ml which is awesome. There are loads of spare O-Rings from Doctor Coil again and a spare coil which is the preferred triple mesh coil reading 0.15ohm along with the single 0.15 mesh I used the triple coil which worked a treat and flavour was awesome…
Along with the warranty card and all the other instructions to cover.

The Build
The build quality Advken have is sheer perfect and it feels great every time I always look forward to opening an Advken box. How many tanks this year so far 2? And all have been decent and the previous year another two. They do need to get up to grips with an RDA which for me will be great. Let’s hook up and design one!! It’s a big tank again but does it bother me no…it reminds me of a previous tank I don’t not own anymore and that was big but ace and this is big and even acer. The top filling again annoyed me every time…it’s that air tight there is no breather hole for the tank to let air out. No in the future think about a new design on that. The filling is slow meaning you have to tilt the tank slightly and drip it down the coil for it to fill and to get the best filling options.
So, I’ve tried the tank in numerous stages see below;
30w – I always start low so I can get the coil nice and prepped not much came at this wattage, but I would still recommend
55w – flavour was nice and came very productive as it went on not a perfect vape but nice…more power please!
65w - nice clean flavour very noticeable on the first draw, second pull beautiful…and so on
75w – its nice and works a treat but its not the best as it needs to absorb the juice as its very quickly vaped imo
When priming the coil, it took about a good 10-15 minutes before the flavour was correct to the bottle name, however, you might say what is correct. Something which I have found on previous Mesh coils is that it doesn’t take too long to start vaping the cotton was compacted well on this coil and did at times seems there wasn’t enough juice in the cotton but hey ho it still worked, wouldn’t recommend any chain vaping on subohm at all.
The airflow is really is great and I’m really happy with the how it mixes well with the flavour. The airflow when fully open is far too much, I would advise to have it slightly closed, however, a annoying whistle comes to mind. The airflow is good and there have been no leakages at all yet…now there still is time don’t worry about that but so far so good.

· Small filling kidney, awkward to fill…still

Now let’s hear this one out…again…you know I love Advken tanks. Still saying that my favourite RTA to date is the Manta, but with this is much more a decent subohm tank and far better than the owl why because it holds more juice and is more practical. I’ve managed to changed flavour once just to see how the coils take it and it work well. Now I wouldn’t recommend adding either a mint/menthol or strong dessert to any fruit because it will be changed drastically.
Now would I buy it? Now I think I would reason for this is the capacity of liquid. It doesn’t beat an RDA by far, but it sure does work well with what it has. Now in mind with what they set out with the other subohm tanks they introduced this is by far the best. Now before I said what is the new tank…Bat Tank if I remember rightly however, Dark Mesh sits well with the Bat vibe I’m sure. Honest get trying this at the expo you won’t be disappointed.
