It’s true. I’ve updated though it was kind of a circus. The usb port is SMALL. If you don’t have the original cord or it is kaput finding a usbplug that fits can take some effort. It IS possible though. My anti malware suite also poked its nose into the whole thing which caused further issues. I got around it by restarting my machine with the mod attached.

Are you saying there is another version besides 1.1 outor areyou talking about 1.1?

I just picked one of these up yesterday and I have updated the firmware so far I'm very pleased with this mod. I bought this because my cylon started displaying black lines across the screen I love the cylons such a darn things seems awfully fragile, I'm hoping this will be much more robust and can take being dropped without completely futzing out.
For those of you who haven't explored the menu the vcp feature is really nice.

Same reason for me, bad Cylon screen. I don't know if it's fragility or just bad screens. I'm not sure how long my Cylon will have a readable screen but the basic screen of the Legend(s) and toughness will hopefully last longer than 3 months like my Cylon did.

Thelegend’s only weakness is that if you drop it exactly on the battery door you can break it. Drop it any other way and you’re more or less fine though. Thebattery door thing is why it doesn’t have a milspec classification, but it meets it in every other way afaik.
