Ahoy-hoy
So, I'm actually quite happy with how my Protanks (both 1's and 2's) have been working on my ProVaris, with the stock bases. Sure, some coil+base combinations require that you loosen it a quarter of a turn to get good airflow, but still, no big issues.
I've drilled out the air holes in the bases to 1.5 mm, just so you know how I roll.
I then started reading about how awesome these Aerotank bases were, and thought "what the heck, I haven't really spent money on anything for a while", and bought a few of them.
Now, I can see how they're supposed to work, and they do indeed work too, BUT - and here's the reason for this thread - they won't sit flush on my ProVaris.
It's like the connector post in the Aerotank base, is wayyyy to long, leaving something like a 1 mm gap, between the base and the ProVari.
Is this "how it's supposed to be" with this combination? Or are people tweaking the Aerotank bases, in order to get them to sit flush?
Hoping someone can enlighten me
Thanks
