I've had my Kanger ProTank 2 since they came out and so far no leaks or gurgles or any trouble at all. Now I'm intrigued by the Kanger Aerotank with dual coils. Is it worth the change from PT2 to Aerotank with bottom coils or just invest a few dollars for the air flow adapter? I basically use the PT2 or my IB Tanked cartos.

I think it is worth the change. The aerotank reg, mini, mega, are stainless steel. The PT2 is not.I didn't like the taste and sold both my PT2's with added sleeves.

And then there is the new aspire mini nautilus. Check it out. The coils are a little pricier, but I am really liking the increased taste and vapor.

Thanks for the reply. I have always used Kanger except for IB Tanked carto tanks which are the best carto tanks. I have been looking at the Aspire mini nautilus. The difference in coil price is about a dollar or two more then the Kanger coils. I do like the fact the Kangers are all stainless. I will decide soon. Guess it's time to step it up.

I use and love all the Aerotanks, but just remember they are only dual-coil and so use more juice and will need more battery power than you are used to with the single coil Protank 2.

I am also trying out the Anyvape Peakomizer currently. It is also Stainless Steel and Pyrex, but will hold 3.5 ml (about 1ml more than a protank/aerotank), and can use either single or dual bottom coil (Aspire or Kanger). Oh you fill it from the top too! I'm using it with single coils for running around and Aerotanks on my home based mods. Looking good so far.

Just a note... A Protank 2 with an Aero base still uses the original Protank/Evod single coils same as you would with the stock base. If you buy a complete Aerotank then yes, dual coils only. Also the newer enclosed dual coils are interchangeable with the older open style duals. I've never tried the new style coils as they are not ideal for rebuilding which I do for all my Kanger coils.

I have a PT2 with an Aero V1 base and it makes a huge difference, IMO. One big benefit is it's a sealed base so no more juice in the 510 connection! I drilled one of the holes in the base to 1/16th for as wide open draw as could be attained with a PT2! Vapes awesome! I use it just as much as my Kayfuns and other RTA/RDA's.

What are you powering with? VV is needed to make the dual coil tanks shine. MVP with mega aerotank makes me happy :)

I have the MVP2 and several Innokin VV-3's so power is not a issue. I'm not a fan of paying double for coils. I just might purchase the air flow adapter and give it a try. I have always enjoyed the Protank 2 and the Protank 2 mini's. Those and my IB Tanked cartos have been all I have used so far.
