aerotank rubber o rings?

Hi,

I've been having some problems with my Aerotanks and rewicking with cotton seems to be helping immensely.

I'm very confused about one thing.

In the box the tank comes with, there are 2 replacement coils and 2 little rubber O rings.

What are the O rings for? Putting them in seems to be causing problems, and when I take them out it works better.

Feeling pretty dumb here.

They are extra/replacement o rings in case you damage or lose an existing one. Hold on to them - one day you'll be glad you did.

Those are extra o-rings for the tank to base and top seals.
Spare parts. Save them. I have lost a few down the sink drain cleaning/rinsing. Nice that they included spares.

I have evod atomizers. I never even saw the O rings when I was cleaning 2 atomizers. They came off, went down the sink. That was it. 2 defective atomizers that can't be used anymore. Too bad, they were new atomizers.

Parts, parts and more parts lol any tanks you get that have extra parts o rings etc. save them in original package if you can so you know what they go to or small zip bags and label for when you need them.
Cause one day you will need them

Hang on to them too! If you ever start rebuilding heads you occasionally might need to salvage stuff off of an old unit.
