Affiliate links in my review thread.

I noticed while on the mobile site.
That someone created a link to the blu cig website.
The word Blu is somehow highlighted blue.
When you click on it. It takes you to their website.
How can something like this happen?

I'm pretty sure affiliate links are against forum rules, though.

Whoever did it was very sneaky.
The review wasn't even on blu.
It was for a compatible brand.

Whenever I'm browsing these forums and somehow not logged in, I get the links as well. I can't say for certain, but they may be ecf affiliate links...

Just speculation on my part.

The links are for random key words as well, like "ecig" which takes you to ecf, for example.

The link was for the word Blu.
I wasn't logged in.
It took me straight to the blu cig website.
If E Cig Forum is making money off the link.
More power to them.
