I don't drink coffee... but the hubby does. And of course, it always falls to me to make the damn pot of coffee I don't drink.

I really like the "marble/fade", where it's a combo of the two. But I'm a real sucker for purple.
I have thought the same thing.
Mostly because the really nice finish is slick in my hands. If anything I'd have it redone in black, less slick.
But I don't even know about that, because then it's not "original".
I dont have many vices in life but honestly, I am a coffee ..... in the morning and my awesomest wife loves to drink as well. Point taken, our current machine is perfect and you maam are correct!
I agree. I now am wrestling with refinishing the Model T but since the builder is offering the choices I feel it would still have the original feel.
I am going to pack up a Silver Bullet for K to refinish and talk to him about my REO 2.1 or one of the PVari's for design if possible as they are far from collector pieces.

Wanted to update folks on this. I have not heard anything more from the machinist, but I have sent him an email requesting a final price on production. I have also finished the driptip for the mod.
I also want folks to understand where I'm coming from in regards to this mod and a little about myself.
Y'know, I think it's really important that you all understand something about me. I'm a single parent, supporting 2 kiddos and have never in my life made more than $18,000 a year! This is the whole reason behind this mod. I, as a "lower class" individual have never really been able to afford some of the higher end mods or for that matter ANYTHING that I couldn't fork out the cash for right away. So, it was my goal to produce a unit that was not only aesthetically pleasing and different from everything else on the market, but affordable and plentiful so that you don't see the device increasing in resale value as a result of limited quantities. Also, I'm a very accommodating person and have done my best to make sure that features that folks want to see in this device come to fruit without compromising quality or price! I hope that this helps you all understand who I am and where I come from!

I believe most people who know you, even over the webz, knows your ethical and moral compass and fortitude. I find it respectable asi dont have more qualified word to describe your efforts and work. Funny, you wont have to be pushed when product is revield and operates correctly and was affordable when in their hands. To many of us have seen custom mods needed to be modded upon arrival. Take your time brudda. Enjoy your kids and the important things in life.
