I checked the cloud9vaping website and it says "Metal". What kind of metal did you use Imeo? I want to make sure of the type of metal used before I purchase as some metals are not the best to use as mouthpieces (aka aluminum for example).
Just curious, I have the SuperT ones, and its a hard fit on the 510, even a bit tight on the 901. I think this is due to the fatty grommet they use. Whats your opinion on these?
I have a brass and stainless steel one... not a big fan of vapingthrough brass.. not to mention they get all nasty and gunky and are hard to clean.
We need to find a lopsided lathe so we can make a whistletip version as well.
I just received mine today, and as you say it is a must-have for anyone using the AFS. It completely solves the problem of juice coming through the mouthpiece, and I can now draw on the e-cig as hard as I like (before I had to be careful not to draw any liquid through).
Cutlery is stainless steel, so I'd assume the mouthpiece is equally safe to use.
I must agree that this is a must have for the AFS! I have the plastic one for now and it works flawless and my AFS is working to the max and not once in 3 days has liquid even come close to mouth. When i had the regular 901 tip or drip tip it was getting in my mouth consistent. So people if you are considering getting a AFS is you dont have one, just make sure to order the mouthpiece as well. There are no leak issues at all on my AFS just around the 8 holes once and a blue might have a dab of liquid but like others said fluval and most safe fish filter foam should be good to stop and leaking from holes. Im really happy with the AFSv2!!! I have been using my new I7 for a few days and loving 7.4v useage. Also i did notice when i woke up this morning that it wasnt hitting after i did a battery change. I tested my batteries and they both were aroun 4.03v after i drop a use but one of the cr123's was crapping out and no vapor. I switched them with new ones and clouds were back again! These cr123's lasted me more then 2-3 months. I am not mad they crapped out and the ultrafire's did there time lol! So people, If you are not getting the right amount of vapor check you batteries. 1 bad battery using 2 at 7.4 can cause it not to produce energy to the atty and even with checking it through a volt meter wont always tell you your battery is faulting out... Just a word of advice~
Vape on!
