AFS v2 and burnt liquid taste

Hi All,

Wondered if anyone had a solution to this one.
I noticing that sometimes I'm getting a burnt taste when my AFS v2. I general vape at 6v and I'm finding that sometimes it ok and at other times the liquid seems burnt. I'm using the same liquid and setup and I wondered if anyone else had come across this.

I vape at 5v and was having trouble with 808 cartomizers tasting burnt. I found if I filled the carto (condom method) with juice before I fill the tank solved the problem. Not had that problem since. Can't get atomizers to work at all. Burnt taste. Other than that it works like a champ.

Too little juice in your atty i think.
For 6v your atty need too be well wet. Try open more the cr on the atty connector

I had this problem until I started making the holes in the cartos bigger. I have been using the AFS-2 exclusively with cartos for the past 8 months and it works PERFECTLY. No leaks, no flooding, and anytime it starts to taste burnt is because it is time to add more juice. The AFS is truely the best invention ever for ecig users, IMHO.

My opinion is that you should drop 5-6 drops of liquid in the carto and then to fill the avs ... After 10 minutes of vaping you will see that the liquid level inside the avs tank will go down ..Refill one more time and you are ok ... I had never had such a problem with my 808 cartos inside my avs ... Also check if you the right hole at the carto ... I am always vaping at 6V with the adj. draw ring wide open... If I close it a little I see tha the carto is overflooded..

any one try drilling the hole at the towards the top? like this Atomizzatore 901 HVR 4,8

has it worked for anyone or does it even make a difference? was thinking of punching another hole in my atty for the fog as it seems to not feed quick enough

When you get the burnt tast just suck on the AFS hard for 5 seconds but dont push the button to vape.After a while i got used to giving the odd suck.

Doing this just seems to top up the cart.never used an attie in my AFS so dont know if it would work the same with an attie.
