I find that actually funny- when you smoked(I am assuming you did) did you go buy a different pack of cigarettes each day or did you find what you liked and kept buying those? occasionally using something else when needed ,but not willingly. well, I want the same thing in my vaping- I am tired of trying the next best thing- it's expensive and more marketing than anything else. I vape for the nicotine not to see if it tastes like a cheesecake or cobbler(none of them do as far as I am concerned). I found the taste I like and that's what I vape. I get that others want flavors or something else, but it will never end- there is always something else, just not something better.

Smoking was never a hobby for me, vaping has turned into my main hobby, especially trying flavors (similar hobby as foodies and wine drinkers). Many people find that odd in real life, but it's something I really enjoy, as do many others in this ejuice section of the forum.

I'm not looking for the next best thing, just looking for new experiences as good as the ones I've been vaping. At any given time, I have multipe new juices on hand that I just love. Even the new juices I buy that I'm not crazy about I still vape up, because often I am just vaping for the nicotine and not the hobby side.

I agree that how I do it, it will never end, there will always be something else. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I really wish I could be like you but I wish I could shake nicotine once and for all. when I do I will walk away from vaping and allow my credit card along vacation(until something else needs it!).

It takes quite a while before vaping becomes something more than just a way not to smoke.

Wow, I could not have said this any better.

The good news with vaping, it's shown much easier to step away from nicotine as a vaper compared to with cigarettes. I know personally I can go much longer without getting my nic fix as a vaper than as a smoker. I'll quite vaping when/if I get tired of the hobby or I develope any health issues that nicotine isn't good for (like heart problems or high blood pressure).

Until then, I have no desire to drop vaping or nicotine anytime soon. I joke to people that I run on caffeine and nicotine, but there's some truth to that. That I made it a hobby is seperate thing. Vaping has actually turned into a comparatively cheap hobby for me. The hardware, juices, and chatting on the forum I spend a lot of time with and I have a great time. The money that was used on cigs before is enough to fund a hobby that I spend a lot of time on, which is a good deal for me. And DAMN do some of these juices taste amazing.

Halo- Tribeca 2 years
High Desert Vapes- Dueling Banjos 1 1/2 yrs

I am sure Ahlusion  will be added after I have been getting their juice for a year, I am a new customer there and in love with their juices:) bnrk

I DIY my own juices now, have for a little over a year, and Dueling Banjos is the only pre mixed juice I still buy now. About a year and a half for me too and I can't imagine not having it on hand.

I very recently began DIYing a tiny bit, but that only complicates the matter. How will I walk away when I can do it myself? Yes, I will still buy certain pre-made juices, or until I can make them myself (not likely with several); but leaving vaping alone is not likely. Oh, and I keep Dueling Banjoes too (though I do like it more when it's fresh). Actually, I have been vaping DB for over a year.

I started vaping with the intention to work down to zero nic and eventually quit altogether. I got down to 6mg, from 32 mg, and my wife said " maybe you need to bump it back up". I guess I got a little crabby at 6 mg. I vape between 15-18 mg/ml now and don't intend to quit. I do find myself vaping a little less now and if I wake up one day and don't want it anymore, that would be fine but I just enjoy it too much at the moment.

Out of curiosity, I kept a rough tally as I read through this thread.

Ahlusion ~ 10 mentions
BWB, HHV ~8 each
Halo ~ 6
AVE, GeJ, NLV ~ 4 each

Nothing too surprising I don't think.

Only coming up on 5 months of vaping myself, so I can't really answer the original question.
HHV has gotten a lot of my business so far however.

And Ahlusion has been at the top of my vendors-to-try list for a while now, but I admittedly keep getting distracted by 'flavors of the week', most recently 2 from VapeTrik and Grant's Vanilla Custard - and I have nothing good to say about them.
(Also, I've been waiting for Ahlusion to actually start selling the XPress line - I get so irritated by the steeping guessing game...)

And the flip side to this question, what juices did you fall in love with and thought you'd vape forever that a year later sit lonely in your box (if you still even have any).

Smokeless Image/Bloog RY4 (early/mid 2011). It's still very good, but I don't really understand it anymore (if that makes any sense?). I think it's better out of cartos than attys.

Although I DIY quite a bit, these are vendors who I will continue to order from after more than a year of vaping their liquid:

Halo - Malibu, Menthol Ice & Tribeca
Azure Vaping (formerly Bluemist) - Hypermint
Vaporcast - Biscotti
Gourmet Vapor - Blue Marble

Of the juices we have in our house, these are the ones we keep around all the time, even if they're not vaped every day. Nothing has come along that we like more in some time.

Thanks for this, I was kinda following the thread for just that info but was too lazy to get a pen, apparently.
I haven't tried Ahlusion yet, but you can be sure I'll be placing an order if this many vets use their product on the regular. That's endorsement enough for me.

I bet, if this thread is ongoing, BWB and Halo will be the most mentioned. It's just what I believe.

I have been exclusively with Halo for seven months and just recently fell madly, and head over heels. in love with HHV. Never thought that would happen but OMG I am totally blown away with their NET's (tobaccos).

Dying to try Ahlusion's steeped samples (especially Smooth Criminal) but all the ones I want to try from their Xpress line have been out of stock. Is there a way of knowing when they restock short of having to to click through to check each flavor every day? Trying to place a rather large steeped sample order. I did subscribe to their newsletter in hopes of getting the latest word about their Xpress line as I don't see any mention on their website.
