after years of wanting one, I finally bought an authentic Kayfun (prime Nite-DLC special edition)

Ever since the kayfun 3.1, i've wanted an authentic. never got one. had a clone 3.1 es and 4. 4 wasnt my favorite design to begin with (though i liked the aesthetic) but that 3.1 es clone... loved that thing for an mtl tank. still would use it if i didnt ruin it by soaking it in cleaner and having it rust.

but today, I saw the Kayfun Prime Special Edition Nite-DLC and I pulled the trigger. it just looked so beautiful, and ive heard great things from those who enjoy mtl vaping. I know about the kayfun 5², but I specifically wanted an mtl tank, as kayfun was known for back in the day. also got the matching Nite-DLC PEI tank, the air nozzle kit, extension kit (doesn't match, idk how bad it'll look lol) and spare parts bag. getting insulators and spare glass from other licensed svoëmesto distributors that are a tad cheaper.

It was technically a pre-order. but it said they'll be delivered by 1/15/19. not sure if that means to the shop/distributor, or to the customer. either way, hopefully next month I'll be the proud owner of a special edition Kayfun Prime that looks absolutely stunning... 15th would be nice, but that's just wishful thinking and seems doubtful.

Kayfun Prime is a lovely tank and amazing flavour, even at very low wattage. The DLC version looks stunning. I’m sure you will enjoy it. Congratulations on this purchase.

I don't know about their newer models, but their older models really shined at lower wattage. High resistance, low power flavor builds were the name of the game. I'm glad to hear the newer model retains this quality (dependent on build of course)

I once vaped my Kayfuns (KF2,3,4, and 5) at 2-3 ohms (2 ohms was considered to be low resistance back then). I've since coiled most every tank I own at .5 to 1 ohm. Still vaping most everything at 10w to 12w.

I have a Coppervape Skyline somewhere in the Fasttech system waiting for delivery. Looking forward to trying it.

I got the prime when it 1st came out, and even though tried dozens of other tanks, the prime always stayed in rotation, where all the other tanks ended up in a box, then figured I could save money by buying more primes and stop buying ever new MTL tank, so in the last month have bought 3 more primes (1 being the special edition moonlight), and don't feel bad about the money spent on them at all.

I will still try the odd new tank here and there, like just bought a squape from classifieds, but will cut back for sure.

That black prime is smexy, really considered getting one of them too, but going to hold off for the moment, till my CC has recovered from the other primes.

I'm jealous. I'm debating on pulling the trigger on the Kayfun Prime DLC. But I've spent enough on vaping gear over the past. I'm really curious how the Prime Nite looks on the Dicodes mini box.

I'm aware; I had every site it was listed at set to notify me as soon as available.

I went with Dicodes use as they're a licensed Svoemesto distributor located in the US; didn't want to deal with international shipping unless I could order direct from Svoemesto, which isn't possible from here.

It was promised by January 15th... But it actually arrived today and I must say, it looks absolutely stunning. The airflow adjustment is so smooth compared to my old v4 clone; it is by far my favorite Kayfun design so far.

Eventually I may look in to a 5² for a dl kayfun, but I do it won't be for a long while; I spent enough on this and the accessories already.

This is fresh out of the packaging as is; also have the matching pei kit, air nozzle kit, and the regular tank extension... Speaking of which, if anyone ever sees a gold or black/dlc option for the extension set anywhere besides svoemesto's own site, please let.me know; I would like to have the option of increasing the capacity even more than the pei kit allows while not having it look like total garbage lol
