I traded off the Magneto I didin't like for an RSST yesterday, brought it home, threw a wick and coil on it in under 5 minutes which is easy with this RBA, and vaped on it. I'd been vaping on my AGA-T2 for a couple months or so, and was very happy with it, until I got the RSST.
Well folks, it's easier to set up, and I think I'm actually getting better flavor from the same juice. I put the juice I had in the AGA in it, and suddenly it tasted better. Hmmmmm....I coiled it for the same ohms, .78, used one of the 400 mesh wicks I had rolled up, and hey, it tastes better with the same juice. A definite plus
I think it's because the wick hole is insulated, and you get the coil heating from the top and bottom both at the same time, which is clearly just more efficient. It certainly makes working out hot spots a lot easier. It's also very nice that you can take off the tank without having to re-coil it. I especially like that spring capture on the center post. Very spiffy! I did have to drill out the air hole a bit.
So my AGA-T2 went into the vape box with the rest of my RBA gear. The only thing I don't like about the RSST is the cap. I don't like that flat top. I want a cap like the one on the AC9, which I guess I can't get. I doubt the AC9 cap would fit the RSST, and I prolly couldn't get one if it did.
All in all, I'm really liking the RSST on the whole. Great atty, easy to set up, better flavor.
