So last night my ego twist (by smok) had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction. The top part that connects to cartomizer slipped out and the button fell out. Does anyone know a fix to this problem?? It still works it's just a pain to use two hands to fire it.

go full mech: look at kamry k101 or KTS, or if you want something real nice $$$$ go with an M16.

Anything with electronic button is just going to break.
Go with something that has a mechanical button.

You won't be sorry.

Please don't listen to the above advice ... Yes, any PV can break or malfunction over time however, advising a new member to just jump into mechanicals is very irresponsible advice.

Mechanicals can be great because of their simplicity, and its true that you don't have any electrical components to worry about however, there is the A LOT that one needs to know about batteries, amps limits, and ohms law before they venture into the world of mechanical mods, which can be potentially dangerous if you are not educated, and know what you are doing.

For the record, I have been vaping for over two years, I am the happy owner of many PV's, and I have yet have any device break, or malfunction on me (even as it has happened to countless others). All my wires, and boards are still very much intact ... So you have a malfunctioning device, this happens... and very bad things can, and have happened with mechanical devices as well, most especially when the user is minimally informed about them.

You can try searching Youtube for some fix solutions to your Ego battery issues, or you can simply buy a new device ... which is a better idea because as you are now finding out, you NEED BACK UPS in this vape game.

did you lose the button or is it still in the tube? The top part is a press fit into the battery tube, it can be pulled apart and the button slipped back into place but it takes patience and a toothpick. If you go this way, when you pull the top part away from the battery do it very carefully there will be 2 wires going to the top portion that are rather thin and easy to break. They normally break at the circuit board where the switch button is if you get too aggresive with the top removal step. Soldering them back on is an option IF you have excellent eyesight and a good soldering iron...
