I think I'm almost ready to make that first order.

Smooth Criminal
Coco Berry Cream
Caramel Wildwood

Not sure about the sample yet. ?

I need to be a lot more restrained than I want to be.

Good representations of Ahlusion's strengths (and popular selections all) would be Blueberry Vanilla Cake, Caramel Pear Black Tea (or any of their black teas, for that matter), W&A Sasparilla, Sweet Cherry Something and Lemon Cream. But I say just jump in anywhere. You're not going to run out of others to try later!

Note that Smooth Criminal and Caramel WW when fresh are super sweet and rich, and they eventually change a lot. So you'll either be in love for a couple months, or (like me) have to wait for a couple months. To me, eight-week-old SC is the best juice made by anyone anywhere period; till then, I'm not really a fan at all. But others like it fresh.

Got my fed ex home delivery today...one week from showing as shipped...not bad considering the ice storm of biblical proportions the upper Midwest has gotten.

Question. I thought that a free sample was given for orders over $20? I requested a sample of Boba Tea, but it wasn't included...went to the website, and it states "custom e-liquid orders over $20“. I ordered all small Xpress this time...anyone else have the same result as I?

I think that is correct, about receiving a sample with orders over $20. That's what the site says. I'm interested if that was an oversight on Ahlusion's part, or what... since I was going to make my first order. I am considering Boba Tea for the sample, too. Let me know if you find out anything, OK?

It's going to be fun to try them all, but I remind myself there's no hurry. From what I've been reading, it's going to take a long time to arrive anyway, I guess. Notes taken, thank you!

Came home from work today to a minor disaster. After all the snow and deep freeze we had earlier in the week, suddenly we got warmer temperatures and a lot of rain, which melted a lot of the snow very quickly and caused my gutters to back up, which caused a leak in the corner of my living room ceiling. Spent quite a while cleaning that up. The leak stopped, but the sudden snow melt is causing some problems since the ground is still frozen solid. On the brighter side, things here are under control, for the moment.

Sorry to hear that. Don't mean to rub it in but the wind chill here was 85 today.

Yes, Florida is open for business and for you Tiger fans from Michigan, spring training tickets are now on sale.

Cold front is coming through midweek though, highs are supposed to be in low 60's for a couple of days.

It won't take that long. I think the power outages around Flint, the two feet of snow, and the huge sale they had all worked together to make the last week kind of screwy. Usually it's pretty quick. Don't forget to choose the free shipping for Michigan residents!

And as noted by vjc, XPress juices don't count toward the free sample minimum purchase of $20. First double check that the juice you'd like as a sample doesn't have the "Not available as sample" note in its description. Then just request what you'd like with nic level and VG/PG ratio in the notes at the bottom of the order page.

Hope you like whatever you get!

I Love Florida, I really do. Especially in the winter, when I am freezing here. In Michigan. In the cold. But thanks for not rubbing it in...

Thank you for the good info and help you give me!
I am not going to be able to order ANY XPress because nothing is available, so I'm safe about the sample.
By the way, how would you describe Boba Tea, if you've ever had it?

Well you folks do get to drive over to A+ in Swartz Creek whenever you feel like it. It is over 1,200 miles from here.
It's also very hard to have a good snowball fight with beach sand.

Boba Tea is Wlad's take on Taiwanese bubble tea, which is black tea and milk, with tapioca pearls at the bottom. So it's a milky sweet black tea. I like it okay, but not as much as many others do (it's VERY popular), and definitely not as much as Car Pear Black Tea, Vanilla BT, MI Cherry Tea, or Berry Shangri-La Tea.

The something in Sweet Cherry Something is kind of halfway between cake and pastry. It's delicious, as are all of their cherry juices -- very authentic flavorings made by Wlad with extractions of various Michigan cherries. SCS tastes to me just like the big mahogany Traverse City cherries that are one of the best reasons to be in this state in the summer.

That absolutely decided me! SCS it is, for sure. I've had a pretty rough day today, so I'm dragging myself off to the bed now. I'll make that order tomorrow, and thank you! :)

That happened to me with my first order too. I ordered one bottle of Xpress to see the difference to get over $20 and requested a sample, and no sample arrived. You need to order over $20 or the regular made to order juice and then request your sample in the small comment box near the bottom of the order page and request it like this: juice name, nic mg, vg/pg level. They need all info because your sample will be custom made for you. Also, Xpress liquids and other items and gear do not count towards your $20. Check each flavor to make sure it is available for samples; some flavors are not. The aeromatic tobaccos and Xpress liquids can not be samples. If a flavor is not available for sample there will be a highlight notation of that on the flavor's individual page.

I feel for you. This weather is a nightmare. We had a pipe burst upstairs early this week during the deep freeze. Hope you do not have much damage.

Well, I successfully failed at building an evod coil tonight. Sigh..........

Went to a local vape meet and met up with a couple of fellow ECFers which was fun. One of the guys was kind enough to show me how to take apart one of my evod heads and build a coil for it. 30ga wire wrapped around a tiny screwdriver, about 8 wraps (I could not do it free hand without the stabilizing screwdriver). Used Peaches & Cream yarn for wicking. He had one of those black ohm checker thingys and the ohms were over 3 and fluctuated up to over 4. He said it settled at 3 (???). I would not put it on my Provari so I put it on a spinner. Bleh. Played with voltage and was able to vape it for 10 minutes or so then no nothing. Put it on the Provari to check ohms and came up an OP. So I am not a natural at coil wrapping.

Why do people rebuild evod and protank heads? They are so tiny and I have to cut my nails off to manipulate itsy bitsy pieces of 'stuff' and what's with this flavor wick business. So far not worth it to me. I will buy the damn heads. I am cheap but this is ridiculous. Maybe I will like it more if I practice. Doubt it but worth a try. I am on a waiting list for a Russian 91%. That has a larger deck so maybe I will be able to see what I am doing without a telescope. Still will have to cut off the fingernails. I am heartbroken over that. But I am not giving up. He gave me a small beehive shaped clone dripper. I need to find wire and figure out what gauge to use. What is the difference in quality and taste between a standard coil and a micro coil?

It was fun trying though. And I posted this novel here for all of you that have spent the time to try to teach me how to build a coil here. I have not given up. I am just not tiny stuff compatible. Thank goodness I am not a surgeon; I would have to be put out to pasture.

My New Year's Eve order is somewhere in Ohio today. Hope I get it Monday. It is Smooth Criminal so time is not a factor there, but my sample is Vanilla Black Tea and I am looking forward to trying it.
