Congratualtions to you. I do not know if this would interest you, but the hospital in WA let my son be involved with delivering his child, hands on. He is still over the moon about that. You may want to ask your dr and hospital about what you can do at yours.

I haven't tried the jungle juice yet...its got its cap off and is steeping...
you know that is one of the few things that scares me
but then again my 1st son was a rough birth
all turned out ok but it was a little scary at the time

I just made my very first order, supposed to have shipped today. I got Smooth Criminal, Caramel WildWood, CocoBerry Cream, and a sample of Sweet Cherry Something. I'm really excited, but trying hard to be patient.
The good people here gave me a whole lot of good advice. I'm sure you're in the right place!
You think YOU were scared? Your wife was and is terrified. Second time around is easier because she knows the routine. But a difficult first birth must have her a little apprehensive. She is going to need your strength and support. Maybe there are some little things you can do to calm her and support her. I am wording this poorly. And you will be fine. The second birth is usually quicker and easier than the first, statistically. Try to get into the joy of the pregnancy and birth miracle. Enjoy every moment, once it is done, it is gone. Savor it. It is the birth of a child that is going to adore you.
I also just made my first order after reading too many pages of this thread. Two aromatics and one non-aromatic. My excitement is tempered though by the advice to steep this juice for many weeks or months. Sure hope it's worth the wait.
Aromatics are good right away, according to Ahlusion they don't need to steep at all. For the non-aros, I've found most are good right away, some are better with age. Steeping only needed if you don't like it right away.
Months!?! I thought the stuff had an expiration date of 6 months. Also, I've had e-liquids that seemed to fade out after a few months... best to try it weekly, at least that's what I'm going to do. Try it weekly until I think it's good, then vape it! It's e-liquid, not wine. Vape it, because in a couple of months, or even tomorrow... who knows if I'll even be still alive!
Yay, yay, yay!!! I finally got my juice from my Dec. 30 order today! Wow, that was a long wait. Previously, I'd always received my A+ orders w/in a week, maybe 8 days, max. I am just not happy about the FedEx thing. That was ridiculous. But now I'm happy--I finally have my wonderful, beautiful, magical Boba Tea back! True, it's not as amazing FOOB as it is steeped, but I'm vaping it anyway. And I'm happy. And I have a second 60ml of it that should be here Friday. With proper planning, I can keep this (running out of it) from ever happening again.
In other news... Shari, congratulations! He is beautiful! Thanks for sharing a picture with us!
And to all you New-to-Ahlusion folks... Welcome! You will not be sorry you ordered. Even with the long steeping recommendations, most things are pretty good (although I can't speak for the tobaccos) right away, or at least within a day or so. Yes, they absolutely become more and more wonderful as they steep, but open them up, smell them, shake them a bunch, and try them the day after. Or that day. Your call. But I bet'cha won't hate them!
EKat, definitely try the CBC and SVC right away. They will get even better over the next couple of days, and especially over the next couple of weeks, but they will at least be nice the first day.
And, thesandman, I know it doesn't fall under any of the categories you were looking at, but I highly, HIGHLY recommend you try the Boba Tea plain. It's flat-out amazing. Pretty sure there are others who would agree. I would vote for Mango Colada for your fruit, but there are plenty of other great ones, too.

I was also getting my orders a lot quicker. I am not a fan of the Fed Ex change . Guessing when Fed Ex delivers in my private Idaho is a crap shoot. At least if it is USPS I know I can find the Postmaster delivering a baby, in the bar, shoeing horses, or seeing dental patients in the bar.

Ditto on what Jerms said. Each juice is different. I find that while most juices take a while to gel, most of what I order generally hits the sweet spot within a few weeks. Steeping techniques are about as varied person to person as our vape buds seem to be.
What seems to work for me is to open that package and then...
Open each bottle, Sniff the aroma (not really needed, just for fun), Screw the cap back on and shake vigorously, take the cap off and let it sit about an hour or two, put caps back on and shake again, let sit on a counter for 3-4 days, test juice and repeat as needed. (Thanks to Ms. EleanorR for the steep lessons some time ago)
We are all different. Some like Smooth Criminal after a couple of months, I like it after a week, love it after two and never had a bottle last two months to find out.....
