We will remain extremely vigilant during the next step of the legislative process, during which the Directive is negotiated between the Parliament, the EU Council and the Commission.

Should these liberticidal contradictions remain in the text of the Directive, we will very visibly and very loudly alert the electorate that certain MEPs betrayed the interest of public health and the democratic vote of the majority of their colleagues. We remain ready to contest the transposition of such provisions in national law before our courts and ultimately before the European Court of Justice.
