I created this account since I am new to the whole ecig thing, 2 weeks w/o Camel Wide Menthols (I was a Wide smoker, then a head cold got me hooked on menthol). I've found that menthol ecigs have nothing on the real thing, but flavors are where it's at...

All that is neither here nor there, and not really the point I came here for. I've learned that my little sister has picked up smoking in college, since I know where this leads, I'm probably going to be buying a second starter kit from another ecig maker for myself. I'm looking at smoov, just because of the looks and the blank cartomizers, I hate the drymouth from PG, so I'm gonna be trying to switch to another liquid...

So, is Smoov and their empty Cartomizers any good? And any suggestions other than Red Oak for an eliquid that has no PG in it? Thanks.

I think you be better off going with one of the suppliers on this forum, or look at Volt e-cigs, I've heard alot of good things about there. As far as the dry mouth goes drink water, changing liquid isn't going to help, just lots of water.

Both can be somewhat drying. It's pretty easy to remedy- drink a glass of water.

Here are some things to consider before you spend your money:

Smaller batteries aren't going to last as long between charges, so if you smoked a pack or more per day, they probably won't make you a very happy vaper. You'll probably end up recharging them more than vaping them.

The kits you're looking at appear to be KR808D-1's, which is a good thing because you can buy the blank cartos from many vendors. I couldn't tell you if their blank cartos are any good or not. The good thing is that you can buy your own juice, again from many different vendors.

I would suggest trying a mix of PG/VG. If you're getting dry mouth, it's probably because you aren't drinking enough water. Both VG and PG are hygroscopic, so they attract moisture and they will dehydrate you.

I think it's great that you're looking out for your little sister!

She's actually an engineering major at a very well known respected university, the "cool" factor of an ECig should help woo her away from the real thing.

Sorry, reading my post it sounded sort of rude and I didn't intend it to be. Both PG & VG do tend to dehydrate you. Maybe all PG slightly more so, but they both do. I'm always sipping on a bottle of water, or mints.

A suggestion for a non-PG eLiquid? That's easy (I've got two):

Alien Visions EJuice ( Alien Visions E-Juice ) Boba's Bounty and(or) Gorilla Juice
Both are 100% VG


(I really recommend "and" and not "or", though =)

Never heard of smoov. And VG is too thick to work well in cartomizers. I don't use any more than 20% VG juices in my cartos.
