Hello ECF and thank you for taking the loss of sleep to take a look at my review of the new Aimidi tank T12.
This was not sent to me by the manufacture but is something I won in a giveaway and thought I would share my findings and thoughts.

Lets start out with the specs;
The dimentions are 105.5mm X 71.1mm X 27.5mm
Ok, know that we have all that out of the way in the immortal words of Vic "And we're off!"
First impressions;
This thing IS A TANK!
The feel of it and even looks, gives you the urge to see just how much punishment this device could take!(Thanks to the guys at Vapehappy in LV I will not have to post such abuse before it actually quit working(run over by the front and back wheels of a BMW SUV, dunked in a bucket of water, dropped from 40+feet, and thrown against a cinder block wall, HARD!)
The buttons are tightly snug in the body of the device and very reactive, sometimes almost sticky but not to where they wouldn't pop back.
The device will take up to a 24mm atty(VV Govad, Pulse 22, VV Mesh) without overhang but with the 25mm(I used the Thermo 25mm for comparison) it is definitely noticeable.(pictured below)
The device body since it is a rubberized polymer does make a tight seal with the 510 so there is never a gap.
The TC actually works! I used the Govad with a SS Fused Clapton build in SS mode with no problems. I used the Freemax Scyla with a NI DVC coil in NI mode with no problems.
Now, here is where the inconvenience comes, besides the lack of TCR. To change the wattage in TC you have to first put the device setting into KA mode, adjust the wattage desired, THEN, go back into the TC mode you want to run it.
It reminds me of the ST200 chip as in how you navigate the menu.
Now as far as it actually running at 160 watts, it does!
I put on a Cloud Beast King atty with the Q4 .15 coil and worked my way all the way up to 160 watts. The vapor and flavor of 80/20 mind you was plentiful but I did feel like the flavor started to diminish a bit.
The overall design of the mod is great for the individual who is prone to drop something getting scratches and such. Not with this one, their is no paint to scratch and if it actually did scratch it would be on the aluminum framed sides.
The fire button is in an awkward spot from at first glance but if you have medium to large hands then it actually feels good since gripping the device will not make it accidentally fire, only your thumb placement will do that.
Ok, the Pros and Cons(my person thoughts, YMV)
Pros;
Very Durable, I mean VERY!
Centered 510, not pressfit, it's screwed down.
Fits attys up to 24.5mm
Fires Quick
TC works(at least in my testing on this device with my attys)
Waterproof
Dustproof
Nice color screen
Cons;
You have to unscrew the back cover to replace the 2 18650 batteries(a sacrifice for protections)
It's HEAVY! 321.5g (little over 1/2 a pound w/o batteries)
The position of the fire button(could be a pro or con depending on personal preference)
So if you are the person that works outside, in a garage, prone to clumsiness, this is definitely the device for you.
If you like smaller devices with the fire bar on the side and change batteries alot, then no, this wouldn't be for you.
