I am playing around with my vape and am wondering a few simple things that are still unclear.

1. air flow = cooler vape and I've noticed more vapor. why does it produce more vapor rather then less with air vents up? wouldn't their be very slim chance for vapor to escape through those air vents the more it is open

2. when juice vaporizers does it mainly come from the vapor when inhaling? assuming more vapor = more flavor but when I restrict the air vent the flavor is more intense why is that.

3. due to air flow allowing the coil to cool does this mean I am allowed to run my temps higher? when I restrict it I run it on lower temps because sometimes I get a very burnt flavor just at 18wats. was wondering if air flow makes it possible to run the vaporizer on a higher wattage using same coils without that burn taste. the burnt taste if I recall comes from the cotton burning but if I give it more air flow coil would cool faster thus allowing cotton to not get burnt unless I crank it up way too high.

I'm a Mouth to Lung Hitter.

When I open up the Air Flow on my RTA's/RBA's, I can get a Bigger Hit/Exhale. But the Vapor Isn't as Dense as when I close down the Air Flow.

The Flavor Isn't as Intense with a Wide Open Air Flow.

With the Air Flow Open, I can run Higher Wattages. But I'm more after Flavor, so I tend to Vape at the Lower end of the Watt Scale anyway.

More vapor does not necessarily mean more flavor.

Tighter draw gives more condensed vapor, which give much more robust dense flavor.
Also, I want to add that RDAs that have bottom airflow that directly hits the bottom of the coils while other airflow is closed off gives really good flavor.

If you are having burnt flavor at 18w, I would assume that your coils are not getting wicked properly.
Are you using tank or RDAs?
What kind of PG/VG ratio?

Not saying that there is anything wrong with using tanks, but give it a try and get a cheap RDA like Mutation V4 and test it out urself.
Dripping gives more control over how much your juice is wicked onto the coil/cotton.

I am using tanks with disposable coils pg/vg on this juice is 60/40 but I have some that are not even stated or can't even find the pg/vg ratio at all online. yea am not sure how i'd get better wicking from these coils. I do have a 100% vg juice but I don't use that. trying to get into RDA's but still want to learn more about vaping before going down that road. I think what I am looking for which seems almost impossible is lots of vapor + insane flavor. I typically can get one or the other but it seems I can't get both with my set up nor don't know if that's even possible. I obviously don't expect insane clouds with my set up since it's not even an RDA but I do lack vapor production on lower watts but get good flavor I thought more vapor played a role in that for some odd reason.

just lacking funds to invest in RDA's and all the things needed even for a cheap one probably will get into it this winter or summer for sure though.

Correctamundo.

I am a flavor chaser too.

All I want is a flavorful satisfying vape.
