Yay, my air purifier arrived. The husband (who has exited hibernation) gave my lack of fog a seal of approval. It's actually a lot bigger than I thought it would be, (although not HUGE) but plenty for my purposes) and although the husband exited the cave in a state of grumpy hibernation, he admits it is a good enough solution. I have it placed so it that all my vape gets SUCKED through the filter, it's a definite improvement. I would say big enough for our living/dining area for sure.

Oh, and the filters are washable, supposed to do it when they are "full" or every 3 months. I'm liking THAT, both for the environment and not having to replace them.

Overall, high marks.

But what is the environmental impact arising out of the use of electricity to run the filter?

It's devastating to the environment, let me tell you, as now I can leave the heat on as needed as well. LOL. Mainly I'm cheap, but I do like reusable things and whatnot. Like all my glass bottles and etc. The "Climate Change" end is like, one hour nearer, thanks to my vaping (maybe two, if I count battery charging time) so we have moved our "fictional" end 0 steps closer, I think.

I'm going with the Honeywell tower thingie.

I knew I was asking the right community.
Yup. I am happy with my Holmes units, but others might find one to be obnoxious. Let alone two!! But the headaches from sinus problems were awful.

I just use an open window and a little fan blowing out, so far no complaints.

Windows solve that issue.

Where I live it is way to hot and humid to do that most of the year. We have a joke around here "How are computers like air conditioners?" ..... They both stop working properly as soon as you open Windows.

That’s great that those filters are cleanable because most of those companies make thrre money on filter replacements

Um that post was a bit unclear but if you are asking what make and model I have it's the Honeywell Quiet Clean. Not really powerful enough for the whole house, but my living and dining area for sure, which is where I vape.

Still rather extremely happy with its performance. And yes, I didn't love the idea of getting replaceable filters, although I think you can install a special "non-cleaning" set, which I do not plan on doing.

That's what I got today and it's running now.

When it's time to replace the filter, I'm going to mod the spent one just to see if I can.

After all, that's what we do.
