About smoke detectors... I live in a college dorm room and me and three of my friends have been smoking our eCigs at the same time. A few times it was a bit hazy in the room, but it doesn't linger. Keep in mind this was with three of us smoking constantly for a long while. The detector in my room has never gone off, but this is my personal experience.

I just stealth vape when I'm on airplanes. No one has a clue. I never had any issues going through security.

As for the smoke alarms, they're set up with a light inside that sets off the alarm if anything passes in it's path. People have set them off with hairspray before.

If you vape in the toilet, just blow it down to the floor. It's proven to work time after time for fellow ECF users.

And like somebody else mentioned earlier, there's been extensive travel threads posted if you search around a bit. Real in-depth stuff has been stickied. Good luck with your travel vaping!

I just returned from a vacation. I stealth vaped on the plane in my seat, in the terminal. No one had a clue. Small hits, and hold it in for as long as you can. I was using a Joye 510. No problem. I just started using a Tornado mod. Bigger battery, bigger vapor. I don't think I would attempt using this on a plane, just TONS of vapor.

I agree, I wouldn't stealth vape in the seat with my tornado. Way too much vapor.

If you stealth it in the seat, do it with a 510 or something equivalent.

But yes it does work awesome to stealth vape in your seat.

I'm a dripper and I have my stock 510 carts drilled out into drip tips. So I find that every time I take a pull off it, I have a little excess vapor coming out of the tip when I take my lips off the cart. So if you're using drip tips on a plane you need to continue to drag on it for a second after you release the button or else you will be noticed.

Yes the smoke detectors can indeed be set off by vapor... I have done it (In testing conditions on the ground with maintenance approval) on many different types of aircraft. Blow to the floor, and dont chief up the place and you will have no issues!

Safe Travels, and happy vaping!
