Airflow control valve...worth buying?

Hi all, i was wondering if Kanger Airflow Control Valve - Protank II, Protank 3, Aerotank was worth buying for a decent upgrade to a protank 2. I am going to be buying a ipv mini 2 and either nautilus or atlantis but i am hoping to get a decent upgrade until then.

Also thought i should say, my biggest issue that i want to fix is that i feel like i have to take 10-15 second draws to get a good vape. Sucking on this thing like that is killing me. I want to be able to get a good hit with a 3-5 second draw. Don't know if this is the right answer for that problem.

I added one to my PT3 and would say it was absolutely worth it. It stops tank leaks and you can find your prefect draw, whats not to like.

I just called and the local shop near me has them for 5 bucks, I'm going to pick one up even if it sucks its only five bucks

They are 100% worth it. It will seem like a completely different atty when you put it on
I have both the old style and new style and both are awesome. I personally prefer the old style one. With the new one, I tend to close the AFC when I am screwing the tank after I fill it. But that is the only complaint about it.

Another vote for the air flow base. I was going to toss the protank 2 but now it works so good, it's a keeper.

Please make sure you get the right base for the right unit. The OP stated that he has a Protank 2 but was looking at the Protank Airflow valve for a PT3. They do not cross from one to the other. Please make sure you get the right one, or you will get massive leaks.

Absolutely YES! Those th8ngs make a great vape outstanding! I have about 7 of them for all my Kanger tanks!

Also, the OP mentioned an Aerotank in the list as well. The AFC comes standard with the Aerotank. It works awesome as well.

Ok, first thoughts...just got this and exchanged for my original protank 2 base.

It is exactly the transition I was hoping it would be. I can turn the voltage up a little do to more air to keep the vape cooler, which means more vape on shorter draws. No more having to double click the fire button to suck in a 15 second lung buster. same vape in 5-6 second draws as i was getting with the big long draws on the original base. Also, no hole in the bottom for crap to leak through so I like that as an added bonus. I will have to do some adjusting but as of right now this is exactly what i needed to get me through until i can get the other gear I am waiting for.

This information is as provided from the seller. I do not vouch for the accuracy of the informaiton provided. It does state on the site that this item will fit either tank and can act as a replacement for the aerotank should it need replacing. I have watched a few youtube videos of this being used on a protank 2 and a protank 3...however without the videos providing model numbers I cannot say whether it was the same model on both devices or if there is a completely different model for the different tanks.

Big yes on the AFC for the PTs.
I have a bunch of PT2s and a few PT3s. I have an AFC for each one. The same AFC fits both.

Just my two cents but I would absolutely recommend this base. However, I still think it provides too tight a draw. I drilled my air holes out one size bigger and THAT is the mod of the month. Worked great for me after that.

I retired my Protank2 after i started to get a consistent seepage from the 510, was given a broken aerotank and installed its airflow control base onto my Protank2 and it is now part of my daily used tank rotation
