Just a word of caution on the water filter stone. I read a post by a guy who works for a company that makes this stuff and he says it will clog up. That is why you have to replace water filters. They are designed to remove impurities at a microscopic level. He also suggests that they will murder your flavor due to this filtration process. Fish stone seems like the ticket at this point and the results are outstanding. If they just weren't so brittle, I have broken several and it can happen as simply as a bump when you take your cap off. Need to go real easy with them.

Thanks so much for the information, SteveW! But I'll like have a try, if no good I can come back for the fish stone. :D

I did read you have breaking issue with your ceramic wick in other thread. It happened to me too before I decided to drill the wick hole larger on my AGA-T+s. Problem solved until I grind all my fish stone at 2.8-2.9mm diameter, drilled 3 of my AGA-T+s' wick hole with 3mm Bosch HSS drill bit. Drilled with bench drill in slow speed. Set up my stone wick more than 5-6 times never break one yet. But I did felt the smaller diameter has better absorption... nah... maybe it's just me.

Ok, I found the water filter ceramic yesterday. But didn't buy a Doulton, too expensive for testing... ended up bought a small one. Only Rm12. :D

Seems the Ceramic Gravity Filter Candles like these use Sterasyl™

Product page here says "Composition of the Sterasyl™ ceramic contains silver.

Don't know if that's good or bad....

Silver?! Oh $h*t! Ok, I given up... Lucky I haven't insert in my T+ yet. Ton of thanks Datalux! What a coincidence, before I trying to use it, I already have lot of doubt about this water filter ceramic... Searching and googling for more information. Come back here and saw your post with better information I've been looking for. Thanks again Datalux!

And I also found one: Ceramic Toxicology. But not yet finish reading...

I think it's safe for use in water filter cause it's not heating up... I have to post your words in http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modding-forum/362182-next-big-thing-porous-ceramic-wicks.html to tell our friend from Portugal who found this idea.

Edit: Now I even have a little doubt with the fish stone too... LOL!

Another great ceramic wick from Germany. Wow! Wish I can get some too...

From Rauschert Technical Ceramics, Germany.

Introduced by a nice lady from Germany, the white ceramic wick. It's much much better than FC2000 ceramic wick and aquarium air bubble stone - fish wick:)D) that I'm currently use.

Here a video of how this white ceramic wick stream... Wow! Fired 7-8 seconds no hot spot, and no tilt!
