What kind of alcohol do you guys use for cleaning?

I use cheap rubbing alcohol. Seems to work fine.

some rubbing alcohol has ingredients you don't want in or on your vape stuff, IMO. There is also a huge variance in quality and purity. I've heard of people using vodka, I would use this over rubbing alcohol but I use PGA (pure grain alcohol). you can get it from any state store.

I usually just boil everything, but I use rubbing alcohol for exteriors and pga for atty etc interiors.

I don't use any alcohol on my gear other than on the firing contact. For that I grab an alcohol swab/pad to use.
Anything else that needs cleaned gets a wash in water and dish soap and/or scrubbed with some baking soda and a soft toothbrush.

I am sure the least expensive Vodka you can find will be fine if you are using it to clean out an atomizer or driptip. I prefer pure grain alcohol myself. I would not recommend rubbing alcohol because their are side effects from inhalation. Some of the side effects include headaches, nausea, vomiting, irritation of the nose and mucous membranes, throat irritations, and even breathing issues. Great question btw. Good luck to you.

Normally PGA, but I ran out so right now Seagrams Grown Royal for atty's & DT's, soap and water for the metal Reos gets it done, DetoxIT for the batts/contacts.

I used to use rubbing alcohol pads until I read that some of that stuff is harmful if vaped, so I bought a sonic cleaner. Throw my attys in once a week and they come out just like new.

I dont waste liquor on my vape gear!! People get beat up for that! Sometimes I use rubbing alcohol but most of the time I use Efferdent denture tablets.

I just put the whole thing in a bowl and throw 2 tabs in there. The fizzies get in all the nooks and cranies! Comes out clean as a whistle and minty fresh!

(Dont worry. I rinse under hot water and the minty freshness is gone!)

* Denture cleaner

As for the dt cleaning question, I rinse with hot water and use a q-tip when required.

The only places I use alcohol are on the contacts in the Reos, and on battery tops and bottoms. For those, I use rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol. For atomizers and drip tips, I just wash in hot water.

I use PGA, Vodka or moonshine. Whichever I have at the moment. I have also used isopropyl in a pinch, just make sure it dries out well before use

I too just use paper towel or tissue to wipe frequently, and rarely need to do a full soak.
But when I do need to really deep clean, like an earlier post I use Iso Alcohol (find it on Amazon) for contacts, and cheapest vodka I can find to soak an atomizer...

Just make sure to let it totally evaporate before vaping
Its no fun to vape
