I didn't pull the positive post. It's tall enough on my RM2s to drill it "in situ"

Vwls, just shove a sewing needle into the hole of the shorter post and crank it to loosen the post, unscrew it. And start redrilling the existing hole with ever larger bits until the great glass elevator shoots right thru the roof of the chocolate factory.

Oh, and if the post wasn't facing the right direction before you started, throw a crumb or a spec of dust down the hole before you put the post back in so it'll stop turning sooner.

That's just what Charlie was thinking . . .. . right before that Great Glass Elevator . . .. . meh, whatever.

My Mundy's tends to be about 1mm. The ends can be a bit spivy, so I drill to 1.2mm. Just think, "up". (that way the hole still bottoms out in the same place, the screw still reaches bottom, and any wire can be cinched down. (i think i've actually got one at 1.4 as well)

I didn't take the posts out either. I just lightly spun a 1/16" drill bit against the holes with my fingers til it popped through. repeat x4 and done.

You will need to go to the hardware store and get some screws that are a tad longer to be able to pinch down on thinner wire though. I think a 1.2-1.4mm bit would have been the better choice and would prevent needing longer screws for the most part.

I went large enough to accommodate the meat-grinder dual coil

I was sitting around tonight looking at my poor unused RSST and decided to do this:

5 wraps of MM for 1.08 ohms.

Cotton u-wick, long enough to go about half way into the tank.

And voila!!!

Thank you all for thinking about him and prayers. My father is doing much better now. They had to clean out a lot of buildup in one artery and ballooned it since he cannot have anymore stints in it. He has been off plavix due to a knee surgery he had and the heart doctor said it is probably due to that. Him and the orthopedic doctor are butting heads. Just to exasperate things he also had a flu bug during the whole ordeal.

Got the RM2 but there were problems with it which Rob is taking care of and apologized for, so no modification this weekend for pics. He is such a stand up guy I can't say enough good things about him.
