I just got my order of Lemon loves cake and never tried the other one. (not big on citrus vapes) However, I'm on over 10+ flavors from AIV now and none of them were that great out of the box besides White Rabbit (actually preferred this fresh, didn't like it once it steeped) and Cheshire Catnip. (it did improve with steeping but was good immediately) Everything else has taken 1 week to 3 weeks to develop.
Most take 1 week... Fifteen foot falls took 2 weeks but 3 weeks was optimum.

Newbie here, what is steeping?
Just how long you set it aside before it comes to it's best flavor. Some flavors are good right away but most need time to develop. Typically people put them away from light. (nicotine and light don't mix)
Aerating is when you leave the lid off. Many people get these confused but they are not the same.

Shhhh its a secret. ;)
Here are the result of a steeping poll Alice in Vapeland did awhile back... https://vapeland.org/more/steeping-poll/

I like April Moon and Twas Brillig just as they come... no steeping required for me.

Still have a half dozen 3ml samples to go thru and see if I like them or not... Ginger by the Sea, Afternoon Tea, Orange makes me Creamsicle, Chesire Catnip and Mang-ri-la.

I'm vaping the Mangri-la-la sample I got yesterday right now and it is AMAZING. I tried the April Moon last night and while it was very good, it was almost overpowering it was so strong. I'll wait to see how that one turns out after a few weeks. The Cheshire Catnip I got was also really fantastic fresh. I have a feeling it might get more complex if it sits for a while, but really it was great as is.

I hope mine improve. Zombie Apocalypse tastes like soap at the moment (only been steeping 3 days) and Afternoon Tea tastes like eating flowers.

I'll give them a go in 2 more weeks I suppose.

Do give them more time. I found the best flavors were after a month or more of steeping. You'll be glad you waited.

Steeping is the process of soaking a solid material in a fluid to extract the flavor from the solid....( as in tea)

Aging is the process of letting a fluid develope more complex flavors ( as in wine and e juice)

therefore Steeping is the wrong word to use when it comes to letting your juice develope a better taste :)

Sooo if you want to steep your e juice put some tea into it...
