Yup, roomy is out of controll!!! So, if you remember he was thinking about a zmax. Tried to convince him to hold off. Then he was thinking about a Provari. I told him a ton of people love them. He went to the local store here, bought a zmax. He hates it. He thinks that the voltage is off, says he gets burnt hits with his 1.8 viva novas. But, I have tried it with 3 of my viva novatanks with 1.80 ohms and 2 others at 2.4 ohms. at 5 watts, no problem. He was vaping a different juice then me...could different juices have a burnt taste at different temps? Huh. Mine are all AiV. So I grabbed my pheonix rba. Coil reads at 2.0 ohms.....5 watts no problem with white rabbit. So then a dripped a less favorable juice....no problem. So then I grabbed my did clone, ss wick. I have the coil wrapped at 2.0 ohms. Again no problem.
He is/was very angry. Then this evening I see a provari at home. He forgot batteries so he is out buying them as I speak.
Now we are at 4 egos, 1 itaste, a chrome lavatube (cylon so electronicstix calls it) a young June lava tube, a zmax and a provari. All since August 1st.
He is thinking about trading the zmax to me for the chrome lava tube.......I have until Sunday night to decide. So I am vaping my heart out trying to decide (and to see if I can have the same problems as him) He is thinking about selling the zmax if I don't want it.

I have been looking into AiV making drip tips, and I can't find much other than a twitter thread saying they are waiting on the kiln. This would be really cool when it happens. I wonder if they would make me a Mini Death Star? I think that would have me jump out of my skin in pure joy.

Nope no life just work haha. I picked up a phoenix rebuildable earlier today brand new for 11 bucks, should be here monday. I'm glad I've your video to help me learn how to wind the coils.

they are getting glass drip tips. I am so excited I could just ....well, I am excited. LOL I mentioned something......way way months ago about loving glass drip tips and I think someone else might have chirped in. heheheeeee I wonder if they can do those dazzle type glass tanks next? They soooo pretty and I wants one with pink puppy feet like over at Highdesert.... also Pink kitteh cats and pink rabbits...and pink flowers......and pink....er stuff. Lots of pink and purple stuff.

You're experiencing the same thing I experienced with the VMax. The problem is the Vivi Novas aren't wicking fast enough to keep up with the rate at which the juice is getting atomized, so you're getting burnt silica hits. You can test this by taking a very short drag. You'll notice the flavor is fine. If he modifies the Vivi Novas to make them wick better (rebuild the head, trim the silicone cap, bore out the wick slots, or any combination thereof) he will have a much better experience with the ZMax.
I'm not sure exactly why the ZMax/VMax atomize juice faster than other devices set to the same voltage, but the devices tend to operate at about the same level as a different VV device set to .5-1.0 volts higher.
If you already have a ProVari, you should definitely take that trade, by the way

Don't be upset about the smoking, the crap that is going on is extremely stressful and scarey. If you need to smoke till it is over, then do so. If you think it is vaping that is causing the problems, then stop vaping...for now, until you find out. There is no need to leave us though. We would worry terribly, sweetheart. We all love you, I know I do, and not because you are a vaper or not, because you are out Katee. Everything will be better as soon as they do the tests. It might be something really simply angelgirl and be able to resolve it quickly. I know it is always us to be human and see how bad things can be, but I am just positive that you are going to be fine. I just know it. Just hang out with us till this is over. We are part of your support.............and we love you dearly.

thank you sweetie, I will still be around some while I'm seeing if it's the vaping or whatnot. But I think it would be upsetting to me to keep coming here if I figure out that I can't vape anymore. I'm already missing it so much and it's only been like 6 hours!
