I couldn't really afford them either but in the case of tenderfoot, I got that one when he first opened the thread and was having specials and wasn't doing the fancy drawers and such. And the one from renderworks I got before he became a supplier.
Now Ogre, took a 2x3 or something and a 1 1/4 in paddle drill bit or whatever they are called and made his own. It isn't all pretty yet but it keeps him from derping his mods all the time.
I figured if I was going to spend silver bullet and provari money than I should protect them (from me more than anything else ) and if they kept falling on my floor (concrete with thin carpet no pad) and a tank leaked or broke and leaks my precious AIV juice..........

But from what I've heard, provari's are nearly indestructible. Tanks can be replaced easily, unless you have one of those stainless steel tanks like the Odysseus, then you don't need to worry about it :).

I just pm'd tenderfoot to see what the going price is. I hope that's following etiquette since I've never bought anything from the forums before. Maybe with my new found "senior member" status, he'll trust me enough to reply.

I think the only thing I've ever dropped (buy my floor is carpeted with a plush mat underneath my chair) is my VV Gripper. My parents told me that when I was less than 1 year old, anything they gave me I'd hold with a vise grip. I guess I was born lucky. :D

KT, I really hope that you can get some answers and that it's not the vaping that's making you sick :( I hope everyone else starts feeling better too!

2 weeks till showtime and I'm an absolute mess. Always the way though. Some other things have come up that've made me less than thrilled, to say the least. Which means having to do something terribly uncomfortable after the show. Why must people see everything as competition? I know, I know, it's the human condition. I just never saw it coming from the direction that it is.

Anyway, I do hope that everyone is having a wonderful Autumn Equinox! It's been unseasonably cool here, so I've been putting the Keurig to good use! Pumpkin Spice Hot Cocoa may well be the death of me ;)

Oh yeah, today is Autumn Equinox! Thanks for reminding me. I don't know what I'm going to do, though.

And yes, Deranged Doll, it's the human condition to be competitive, but that doesn't mean you have to cave in. As long as you're happy with how you do, that's all that should matter. I despise competitiveness to an unhealthy level. I like challenges.

Sometimes I enter 3D image competitions, but I swear that some people don't understand being a good sport. I've seen so many people complain: "What, that won! Mine was 10 times better. You judges don't know what you're talking about!" Or something similar. Yuck!

My tanks are lava tanks so not easily replaced (that's a whole other story) and if something can be broken....I can break it. and my lavatanks have quartz bedazzle tubes on them so they can be broken. M

My name is Charmed and I break stuff :p

Oh my, lavatanks. Those are precious. I never got one, but now I'm moving to vivi nova tanks so I'm beginning to lose interest in carto tanks. I was going to get a phiniac tank, but now I'm not so sure. But, if AiV ever makes a line of glass tanks designed after their juices, I may have to reconsider. Especially White Frosted Rabbit, Cupcake Frosted City, Frost Frosted Blossom, BW Frosted Cookies...

Uh, I'm not hinting here or anything, just musing "if" these were ever to appear on AiV's line of products, that I might reconsider carto tanks again. Just musing...

Me caving would be like asking the sun not to shine. It's not possible! However, when my dance mentor who's my host for my workshops, is sent veiled threats in regards to what we've been planning for 2.5 months, then it's time *I* step up. I've already put well over 100 hours into writing the workshop and dance format so they can learn to co-exist or they can deal with the fallout. Won't be the first time from what we've heard. What I'm teaching won't even be in the same realm of what they are, despite sharing the term dark fusion.

I have a vivi nova and I like it. I have Phiniacs and while they are nice and very well made, I sometimes have issues with the caps. When I found lavatanks and I could make them work, that is what I went with. and now that bedazzle makes glass tubes for them, the phiniacs get shelved.

and I agree with AIV themed tanks.......

Web design? If you have any questions, please ask. I'm not good at design, but I know HTML and CSS (and javascript, and php, and mysql but you're probably not interested in that) like the back of my AiV juice. I do web work for a living. Not very good at it, but I've been doing this stuff for about 6 to 7 years.

I appreciate it! Yeah, it is just HTML and CSS so far. My online class for this week actually just covered the basics of javascript. The lab took me two seconds.. It was a joke. For my project I am making a portfolio for all my work for it, since we can do the project on anything we want. I figure that if I'm making a website, I should probably make some use for it instead of just making something fictional like our guidelines recommend as an example.

Back two years ago we did PHP and mysql, so I'm guessing it will be making a reappearance later in the semester. I actually like that aspect a lot more than basic html and css.

And I definitely wouldn't have any objections to letting you critique my work, as long as you do not have anything better to do. Hahaha. If you want I can also send you my CSS so you can see that as well. CSS is my weakness unfortunately.

Been busy busy working on homework and this project all day! Haven't left my desk unfortunately. Just trying to get it done tonight so I don't have to worry about it anymore!

How about you Giant? My brother brought over a network adapter for Xbox so chances are that I'll be online tomorrow!

Does anyone own a Reo Grand or Mini 2.0? I am think of getting one of these Mods but just can't decide.

18650 vs 18490, both are decent size batteries and I would drain either in a day.
3 mil vs 6 mil, spare bottle of juice would be needed anyways I am assuming.
Mini 2.0 seems more pocket friendly but really can't tell by the pictures.

LOL I should just buy 6 Kgo's and make them disposable.

Are you familiar with bottom feeders? I hated them when I tried them out. If you aren't familiar with them, then I highly recommend getting a cheap one just to try it out before you get a higher end one.

I had a mini, have a grand, and Ogre has an 18490. He uses his daily and takes it to work a lot. took him a while to get used to them. I loaned him my mini and he liked it enough to get the 18490. He says the Grand is too big. I honestly don't use my Grand much. And I sometimes put a tank on it. The 18490 isn't much bigger than the mini, which, for him is the attraction. His only disappointment was that his V7 RBA does not fit the 18490 but fits on the Grand.

As Ghost said I would recommend you trying one first. Lots of people find they do not like them. The ones who tend to like them the most are people who like to drip.

Way out West...sorta
You're experiencing the same thing I experienced with the VMax. The problem is the Vivi Novas aren't wicking fast enough to keep up with the rate at which the juice is getting atomized, so you're getting burnt silica hits. You can test this by taking a very short drag. You'll notice the flavor is fine. If he modifies the Vivi Novas to make them wick better (rebuild the head, trim the silicone cap, bore out the wick slots, or any combination thereof) he will have a much better experience with the ZMax.

I'm not sure exactly why the ZMax/VMax atomize juice faster than other devices set to the same voltage, but the devices tend to operate at about the same level as a different VV device set to .5-1.0 volts higher.

If you already have a ProVari, you should definitely take that trade, by the way :)
He loves his provari. I am actually loving the zmax with my did clone. You are spot on about the viva novas. He takes longer drags then me. Has to drive for over 2hrs today, so I took the zmax and several viva novas with me. Set the wattage and enjoyed them all. I'm thinking he can have the lava tube and I would be trading up. I have been planning on rebuilding all the heads once the ones in the kits are gone, so it seems like a good fit for me. I'm a DIY kinda girl, so all this rebuilding stuff is fun.

Giant, you are the best!!! I will have more questions for you for sure!!!
