ok, as to your concerns and Lettuce's and everyones.......everything will be going on here as usual. I am thinking the new thread is mostly for Giant to teach us stuff, give instructions on how to take apart and put stuff back together and all that. It has nothing to do with our day to day. Just super technical stuffies. For him, or anyone to give step by step directions on building, cotton, wires, you know.......stuff like that. LOL

and i expect we will all be going back and forth...... getting info from both threads........ just gives us more room is all.

I do get the need for another thread tbh. And turning it into a chit chat thread would be pointless as we have that here. At the same time this place is so huge that a lot might just skip the thread all together. I know with the exception of this thread and the nova mod thread I've never bothered browing large threads as it to much time to find info that I really wanted.

That said having a fresh thread where giant can give help and tips and a place where easily accessed info about aiv such as ratios, reviews and such can be found would be nice for newcomers so they can find what they need and not feel overwhelmed by 4000+ post. And Jah or Nicole can add a link to the first post to here for any that would like to join along with the wonderful people here.

Hahahahhaha. We have a chick fil a on campus. And in the past year we also got a Panda Express, Auntie Annes, Subway, and a Red Hot and Blue.


Awe man. My dream internship removed their listing on Craigslist after only one day. I applied for it while the listing was up, so I'm not sure if they found someone already, or are just reviewing the resumes. It is only 1 day a week, $12 an hour for 6 months. It is just troubleshooting windows machines, which is extremely easy. Since they are a recruiting company, they also help with job placement after the internship is over. Blue jean/casual environment, and are looking for Seniors only (me).

I'm losing faith already. I really need another internship/job. Getting quite nervous about graduating in the spring.

On a side note, they might have dropped it on everyone suddenly and not explain what was going on clearly but, Jah and Nicole have never let us down that I know of and have been more than great. I think that deserves a little faith from the community that they know what they are doing and like always will do right by everyone.

Besides I don't foresee it dividing anyone that currently resides in this thread as everyone here are friends. =)

Was the majority here really that offended by my (and others') technical discussions? I'm a bit surprised.

There are many other similar threads with discussions that waiver back and forth between off-topic, technical and non-technical. The reason I like to have these discussions here rather than in the RBA forum or the modding forum is because here I can discuss it amongst friends in a friendlier atmosphere. If we split the thread, and this is still the "hang-out" spot, the other thread might as well just be posted in the rebuildables forum since it really has nothing to do with AiV.

If this is Jah and Nicole's decision, then so be it, but this caught me off guard.

Sorry for the rant, and I apologize now if this post causes any drama, but this is just very surprising.

I agree KMH, I think it will work out for the better in the end. And let me tell you I am pisssssed at campus food service. We are already out of Chicfila, and the only other option on my part of campus is cold cuts. I'll have to drive 8 miles later for my fix.

I wasn't offended as I like learning things and your post along with a few others I find informative. And no offense to anyone on ecf but a few do have a tendancy to talk down to those that ask questions and we don't have to worry about it here.

ChicFila Sandwhiches have been restocked! I am infinitely happier. However I will say that the flavor does not combine particularly well with my mystic mandalime. I tried the Black and White Cookie again last night with a 1.7 shorty carto and I must say I am in bliss. I find that with a lower voltage I get more cookie flavor, and that the chocolate comes out at a higher voltage. I still must say that the Rabbit has not grown on me.

1. Confusion equals bad. I go where my friends are, so here, there, wherever.
2. The more active a thread is, the more attention a thread gets. Ex: Close to the top of the suppliers forum vs Page 4.
3. The greater the diversity a thread has, the more appeal the thread has to draw new viewers. This also helps reinforce point #2.

I like Whimsy, Magical, Bunnies, Kittens, Video Games, Tech Talk, Modding, Voodoo dancing women, and anything else someone here wants to say. My view on Bandersnatch. I love Bananas, I love Butterscotch, together all I taste is warm Miller Beer. I have tried every voltage possible, Atties, Tanks, Cartos and it doesn't change the flavor at all. The bottle has steeped 7-8 days after I got it and I can say this flavor and I do not get along. It is my first flavor that I can say no thank you too.

My view on Zombie Apocalypse. Strawberry and is that cream? cheese cake? cake something? I can't quit tell but it is really really good. I like this flavor a lot. I do wish it had a touch more strawberry, but that is me and it's nick picking. Great flavor that is a big hit with my taste buds.

Do you vape openly on campus? I'm not the kind of person who likes any attention drawn to myself.. at all. When I vape I usually do it in an empty bathroom, or I seclude myself at a vacant picnic table.

Well I go to Belmont University, which is a smoke free campus. I try to catch a quick vape in empty hallways/bathrooms, or if im around friends I will do it. I find that outside even with some other people around nobody seems to mind, and if I go out to the street with the smokers I can stir up some interest. However I wont sit in the main breezeways and such and do it, I know that's asking for a ban. Overall people around Nashville don't mind, being in the south smoking is much more acceptable than it is up north. Most people who have asked me about it I have gotten to convert. I have a coworker who smoked for 30+ years who hasn't smoked in 30 Days all because of one short conversation we had. He's already messing around with DIY juices and started straight to the Bolt after seeing all my stuff.


I just try to feel it out wherever I am, I don't want to give vapers a bad name. However I won't deny I take the occasional stealth vape in class. I try to be open enough so that if someone is interested it is easy to start a conversation.

Now that I'm a non-smoker, I would kill for my university to be smoke free. I can't sit outside without smelling cigarettes. Yesterday I smelt a cigarette, and I looked around and saw no one. Then I saw someone smoking about 75 yards away and it turned out that the breeze was blowing the scent my way.

As much as I hate to admit it, I still like the smell of GOOD cigarettes like Dunhills, Davidoffs, State Express's etc. But its always funny if you are in the bathroom and someone makes a comment about it smelling like lemon bars or hazelnuts or something haha.
