Alien Visions E-Juice

I got this order as a free sample, not because he knew I was going to review just because he threw one in, and it sat on the counter for almost two weeks being ignored in favor of the Gorilla juice. However I finally took it for a spin and must say I like this juice.

555 is a "nutty tobacco" and that is about all that I have found the same from the various 555's I have tried. Some of them use a sweet "Virginia tobacco" base and some of them use a barley tobacco base. This juice is of the later category and is not sweet. However I actually prefer it this way as I found the sweet+nutty of some 555's to be overwhelming and...dare I say nasty.

Flavor: A nice dry tobacco flavor, some call it "pipe" tobacco when it tastes like this. As said there is no sweetness to this vape its just a nice pure tobacco with a hint of nuttiness, and it is just a hint. Some 555's , to me, go overboard on the nutty part and it is one of the reasons I don't normally order this flavor. Some 555's have a caramel hint but it is not coming out in this take on 555...this is mostly a predominant dry tobacco with a tiny hint of nutty and maybe a hint of smokey. Of the four or five 555's I have had this one is probably my favorite on flavor.

Flavor Strength: AV makes a pretty robust flavor with his VG line up, you will be definitely able to taste this but I don't think it will be overly strong for most vapers

Vapor: ....its avejuice...its got the best vapor out there outside of vaperite, Its all VG so it really doesn't get any better than this...you will produce clouds of vapor.

TH: Actually for an all VG juice this one has a nice TH, as I say in every review I am not a throat hit lover so you may find it more of a medium than a reckless...but it is noticeable which is a plus when your vaping tobacco flavors in my opinion.

True to name: Well....555 has become to the vaping community much like RY4, its a name that gives you a heads up on what to expect...this 555 isn't just like any other 555 as they all differ but yes I can tell why this one is called 555

Overall:
For tobacco lovers who are also VG lovers I would say give it a whirl, if your looking for a non-sweet take on 555 or you just don't like sweet tobacco in general this will probably be a good vape for you. As I said at the start I like this juice.

I ordered several of the AVE juices to sample... in that order was the 555. At first I was not too keen on it being used to the sweeter base tobacco flavors I found it too dry and almost peppery but the more I vape it the better it gets. I suppose this could be chalked up to a bit of steeping as it sits between uses but I cant say it really tastes any different or better it just kind of grew on me. I really enjoy this flavor. It probably will never be my all day vape, but it is a very nice contrast to the RY4 and Kamel pre filled cartos I got from Bloog to use with the MaxX Fusion.

I don't know exactly what flavor bloog is using but I know its from China according to one of leaflords post. I am pretty sure its a dekang if I remember correctly. There is nothing wrong with dekang flavors but they do have a sweetness to them that some like and some find annoying. I do know that goodprophets sent me a "virginia tobacco" sample for free in one of my orders that tasted exactly like most starter kit tobacco flavors...if your looking for more of that they may be the place to go. Madvapes has good prices on dekang as well...but I have not tried the tobacco's from madvapes.

If you want to try more earthy tobaccos like the above 555, then vaperite and backwoodsbrew are pretty good choices..as well as alien visions of course. I actually prefer the base to be non sweet and then have elements of something else...like bwb's applewood or alien visions gorilla juice.

luckily there is something out there for everyone...or at least almost everyone.

AVE 555 is good. It's kinda weird, when you smell the juice it has the nutty aroma, but when you vape it, it tastes like real tobacco with a hint of spice. All the other 555's I've tried have been over the top nutty, and this is coming from a RY4 guy.

Gorilla juice is the bomb! Glad I ordered it before he discontinued it again. I just placed my second order with AVE. Gonna try their Blend 4, and got more Boba's on the way. Definitely my favorite juice vendor :)

Yeah, I pretty much exclusively order from AVE now. I absolutely love all of the flavors I have tried so far. At first I exclusively vaped Boba's and Blend 4, and when I tried their 555 and Flue Cured I didn't thought they were flavorless. But after detoxing from the sweetness of the previous two, I absolutely fell in love with both of the traditional tobacco flavors. They really taste like "true" tobacco to me, in a good way, and are a nice contrast to the sweetness of Blend 4 and Boba's. AVE rocks.

And damn the lack of Gorilla Juice. That stuff was KILLER!!

Yea going back ad forth from gorilla to 555 really made you appreciate the properties of both. 555 is more gnarly dry tobacco and Gorilla is something you probably couldn't do with traditional burning analogs...they play off of each other well.
