This whole thing is just very disappointing to me. I finally found a great place to hang out, a place that restored my ever diminishing faith in humanity and it's going to pot. And over what? I don't even know what the root of all of this was but I'm very sad.

Okay,this is just so stupid.We need to find a way to get this worked out and keep this subforum going.Who has ideas on what to do?We need to comumicate and come up with ideas.Im open to anything.PM me if you want.Divide it up,give a few people different areas to care for.I dont know.

As for now, I've taken over as PIF moderator. I've no intention of changing mod line ups (hopefully Clumsy and GD will stay on). If mods decide to divide up responsibility (which we may need to do, I'll have to talk with the other mods), I'll post for it

Hello Friends

These developments truly sadden me. This place and all it's wonderful people have been a bright spot in an otherwise dark time in my life. You know, and certainly I know, that what we do here is good.....for a LOT of people. Did we apparently pick up some bad apples along the way? Perhaps.....should that suprise anyone? No

This place is about the spirit....the idea......that we're all in this together. A helping hand here...sharing of supplies there, sure, but more importantly sharing this little corner of our lives.

As important as our apparent losses have been to this group and to us individually (I speak for myself Jules), we must not let anything stop the spirit that has allowed this to become what it has. If you quit, the bad guys win.

Im new here and just started to get comfortable...I almost gave up, and then I found this group - amazing bunch of ppl who really care and go out of their way for each other.
It gave me faith again to know that there are really nice ppl out there, like you!
Please re-consider.

I've never seen anything like this. Wierd. I don't understand the whole 'on-line taking abuse thing'. Kick out the bad apples and go on. I've never been good with stress . . . so I avoid it. Water off a duck's back and all that. I wish we could deal with it that way. Nothing should stress us out like this.

I so agree....

I'm not sure exactly what happened that alot of people seem to be leaving.

I personally dont even know who the bad apples are...i dont think im one...< shrugs> who knows.

I just love coming here and seeing all your posts , having a laugh, sharing recipes, ideas and seeing people have fun on the pif thread.

I do hope this group continues on...
